Livorno Landausflug: Bolgheri und Supertuscan Privattour

AMAZING day with Massimo. Was promptly picked up from the Livorno port. Massimo was incredibly personable and very knowledgeable. Visited Volterra first which was about 45-60 minutes away but beautiful drive. Quaint historic town that we really enjoyed walking and exploring the little shops. Had some delicious pastries and coffee. Locals were very friendly. Spent about 90 minutes then picked back up and headed to Bolgheri which is small but beautiful. The drive there is very scenic as you go up the mountain a bit. Had a great lunch and wine at local restaurant then headed to Chiapinni winery where we were greeted by the owner and had a wonderful wine tasting. The day was magical and beautiful all around. Massimo said we we would fall in love with Tuscany and we most certainly did. We WILL be back! Don't hesitate to book this tour for a true Tuscany experience.

An epic adventure led by the best tour guide one could ask for. Massimo welcomed us, and treated us like family through the entire experience. His command of the English language tied to his Italian ways was so entreating and heart warming. The winery experience was intimate with top level treatment. The lunch stop / free time was amazing. We never felt rushed. Can’t say enough about how accommodating Massimo was. Once he learned what we wanted to do after the tour, he made arrangements to enable us to be dropped off at the door step of our next adventure, in this case it was Pisa. A little out of his way, but he was just that kind of guide.

What a great time. Adult family of six, ages 21 - 57. Picked up at the port in Livorno by a Mercedes Benz van. Van was prompt, clean with plenty of room. Massimo was our tour guide. Definitely request him. He was funny, entertaining, and discussed the Italian Culture and the importance of food & wine. Drive through Tuscany was scenic. Stopped at Chiappini winery to sample some Supertuscans. Excellent wines, beautiful scenery and an awesome tasting room...top notch. Bolgheri is a small but charming medieval town. Very nice shops and ate at Enoteca Tognoni. Extensive wine collection and the Tagliolini Al Tartufo was amazing...all recommended by Massimo. Finally, back to port and on time. With all of the sights to see and running around in Italy, it was nice to have a relaxing day. Thank you Massimo and hope to see you in Lucca. Looking forward to the raviolis.

Thank you Bella! We had an outstanding time on our Tuscan wine tour from the port of Livorno. The office was easy to work with to plan our tour and they did a fabulous job. Our guide, Massimo, was spectacular! His knowledge of the wines and the area as well as the history made for a most memorable visit. The vineyards chosen were varied with excellent private wine tasting experiences and explanations. At the first, we met the owner and were warmly welcomed. We had requested a local lunch experience and enjoyed a lovely stroll and delicious lunch in Bolgheri before moving on to our second vineyard. We were thrilled that Massimo was available to escort us the following day to Chianti. These two tours made our trip. Absolutely excellent in every way.

Planning with Belle Wine was easy and fun. We booked two days of wine tours out of Liverno. We did the Bolgheri wines and Super Tuscans the first day and the Chiantis the following day. We left it to the agency to select the wineries for us. Massimo, our guide, was phenomenal ! He had a wealth of knowledge about wines and wine making as well as of the places we drive through and history. His choices were excellent. We met the owner of the first winery and ate with the family of the last. I highly recommend this your company. They were more than we had hoped for Two perfect days in Tuscany we’ll never forget.

Great private tour. Two wineries. First one had a vineyard tour and tasting. The second one had a short tour, tasting and homemade lunch.

What a perfect day. The wineries were amazing, the town of Bolgheri...amazing. But the highlight was our guide who did a great job balancing some history as well as recommendations. We went to Ornellaia and also Chiappini, we preferred Chiappini, the sisters were so welcoming and it was so fun spending time on their family vineyard.

What a wonderful day we had yesterday with Massino! He made us feel like family❤️ Listening to the history of the area and seeing the beautiful countryside was a welcome addition to our day. His selection of our winery visit - Chiappini - was perfect. Meeting the owner and his family was an enhancement we didn’t expect and will be treasured for a long time. Having done many wine tastings in our lives, we loved this as one of the very best - and we purchased a case to be sent to our Florida home. We also enjoyed the very small town of Bulgheri and the nice lunch we had at one of the many Enotecas. We highly recommend Bellaiitalia- very easy to work with booking and an excellent guide in Massimo! You won’t be disappointed!

Booked a private tour just the 2 of us. Simone was waiting for us at the port. She provided an excellent tour. We visited 2 wineries for tasting and also lunch. We had requested an add on to San Gemignano and Simone had a recommendation for some excellent gelato. Definitely would recommend this company for you tour needs in Tuscany.

Massimo was the perfect guide. He has a great personality and recommended a wonderful restaurant for lunch. Both wineries were very enjoyable.
