Livingstone Town Tour, Sambia

Alfie was very knowledgeable, personable. He was great. He took me to a part of livingstone i would not, could not have gone to on my own. I gave a three star review because what was supposed to be a three hour tour of the city was one and a half hours. I was picked up at 7:50 and back at 9:15. I elected not to go to the tourist craft shop area which is part of the tour so i accept taking half an hour off for that which brings it to two hours. Maybe i was expected to stay for 1.5 hours at the one block long tourist craft area? It was disappointing not to have been shown more of livingstone and had a full three hour tour but alfie was a good guide.

It was not a walking tour, but in a car. Only one hour instead of the 2 promised. We only ser few places. Poor

Was picked up at my hotel by the guide. We went to see the local market. Then we went to the arts and crafts market and a church. While driving the guide talked about the history of the buildings it was very informative. We ended at an indoor market and then returned to my hotel. Was a good way to learn about Livingstone my first full day in Zambia. Well worth the money

Guide picked me up in his car at my hotel. He showed me the local market, the arts and craft market, the local churches and the town market. The guide talked about the history of the town, who was allowed to shop where and when? In all the tour was very interesting and gave me a good idea of the town layout which was helpfull the rest of my stay.

Patrick was wonderful & professional. It was great to see a local part of Zambia and learn about the people and the history. Thanks Patrick for a great tour!

Patrick was so knowledgeable about every subject we raised from vegation and wildlife to history, politics and tribal customs merged with modern laws. We thoroughly enjoyed his company, conversation and tour. This should not be missed.

Patrick was the first Zambian I encountered who respected time. He was punctual on all days and has very good knowledge of places to see both during the day and night. Speaks very good English. On my last day he took me out for drinks and got the bill. I'll highly recommend Matmeja and/or Patrick any day you are in Livingstone

Patrick and his team are excellent. We have been in Livingstone for over 2 months and used his services every weekend- he is always at the end of the line and responds quickly. He is professional and has never let us down. He is always on time (or 5 minutes early), comfortable air conditioned cars and safe driving . I wish him all the best for the future.
