Stellen Sie sich Jazzmelodien vor, die durch die warme Abendluft von Corfiot schweben, während die Sonne hinter den Mauern der Alten Festung eintaucht und der historische Yachthafen darunter glitzert. Willkommen bei Jazz im Herzen Korfus : ein verstecktes musikalisches Juwel auf der Musikinsel Griechenland. Nach vier ausverkauften Saisons an einzigartigen Orten auf der Insel kehrt unser Pop-up-Jazzclub in diesem Sommer zu seiner ursprünglichen Heimat zurück : der am Yachthafen gelegenen Terrasse des Korfu Sailing Restaurant, einem seltenen Fundstück, das die perfekte Kulisse für eine Nacht mit Musik, Geschichtenerzählen und Verbindung bietet. Eingebettet neben den venezianischen Mauern im Alten Hafen lädt dieses "Wohnzimmer" am Meer dazu ein, Korfu wie einen Einheimischen zu erleben. Ab 19.30 Uhr (Türen öffnen um 19.00 Uhr) empfängt Sie Sofia mit einem kuratierten Lineup lokaler Jazztalente in einem entspannten und intimen Rahmen. Genießen Sie drei lebendige Aufführungen, während die Sonne vom Ionischen Meer reflektiert wird, gepaart mit lokalen Geschichten über die Insel und ihre einzigartige Musikkultur und optional köstliche lokale Angebote.

Unser gemeinsamer Abend beginnt mit einem herzlichen Empfang durch unser Team, das Sie zu Ihrem Tisch führt. Kommen Sie ab 19.30 Uhr vorbei, um sich einzuleben. Tauchen Sie ein in die atemberaubende Umgebung mit Blick auf die alten Stadtmauern, das Ionische Meer und Segelboote. Graben Sie in einem köstlichen À-la-carte-Menü und Getränke, wenn Sie möchten, die während unserer Erfahrung vom Restaurant serviert werden. Wir beginnen unser Musikerlebnis gegen 20.00 Uhr, sobald die meisten unserer Gäste angekommen sind. Lehnen Sie sich zurück und machen Sie sich bereit für ein einzigartiges Jazz-intimes Konzert voller Musik und lokaler Geschichten. Sofia, Ihre Gastgeberin & Geschichtenerzählerin, wird den Abend gemeinsam beginnen und Sie durch Fortgeschrittener führen. Sie wird dann in diesem verträumten Pop-up-Jazzclub am Meer unsere handverlesenen Jazzmusiker einladen, Ihnen genau das zu bieten: 3 einzigartige musikalische Darbietungen, die einige der besten lokalen Talente präsentieren, gepaart mit Geschichten & Anekdoten der Musikinsel Griechenland. Really a unique experience! From the moment we arrived we felt great. The place, i.e. the location enchanting you! We were very welcomed and we immediately felt very familiar. When the music starts, you escape the mind, you escape reality. Bravo to the musicians! The food very good, and the service very nice kids. We were pleased! I wish we could make time to go back!

Lovely setting and on the whole a pleasant evening. I was just expecting it to be more upbeat, with some lively jazz as well, I thought there might be people getting up to dance or at least toe-tapping, but it was very very slow ... The musicians were good and the team just lovely, warm and welcoming, but it was a little overpriced for what it was. I noticed that at least 6 couples left by the second interval which was a shame. No-one checked my ticket when I arrived, I just walked in and sat down. The intimacy and privacy of the event was spoilt by people walking through and sitting at the marina. - They, in effect, got a free gig! This would be much improved by placing a sort of barrier or screeing around the tables area making it clear it was a private (& paid for!) event. My food was "OK" except that it took an hour and a half to arrive, and was cold (adjoining table had the same issues).

We are delighted that you enjoyed the talent of our musicians and the warm welcome from our team, though we are truly sorry that some aspects of the experience did not fully meet your expectations. We are very sorry for the delay and temperature of the food that evening. This is not our usual standard and we are already addressing it with the team of the Restaurant. As for the music itself, we are proud of the carefully curated program presented at Jazz in the Heart of Corfu. Each edition features hand-picked talents offering a versatile variety of jazz – from standards and Latin jazz to bossa nova, more up-tempo moments, and even jazzed-up Greek songs. The aim is to create an intimate, soulful journey for our guests, showcasing both international and local flavors of jazz. We are glad you recognized the quality of the musicians, who truly give their best to each performance. Regarding the intimacy of the setting, we understand your point and we take it seriously. Normally, our guests enjoy a private and exclusive atmosphere with the performance area screened off from the public. On this particular evening, because it was September with fewer visitors at the marina and coinciding with the full moon, we decided to open the side covering to give a more open and atmospheric view. Even so, our valued guests always enjoy first visibility of the musicians, reserved seating with tables and chairs for comfort and the dedicated attention and care of our team throughout the two-and-a-half-hour experience. Passers-by at the marina may occasionally stop briefly, but they do not share in the exclusive experience of being part of the event. We will nevertheless continue to reinforce the sense of privacy and exclusivity that defines Jazz in the Heart of Corfu. Thank you once again for your thoughtful feedback. Beautiful space facing the sea. Musicians Gregory and Ilias are very talented. Singer Vasiliki (Vanessa ) has an amazing, smoky voice.They played 3 sets ,beautifully arranged.Sofia introduced the musicians and told some facts about the island. I took the bus to Benetsi and back to Corfu town, it worked out great. A must for a jazz lover!
The music, the musicians, sound quality, location, MC-ing, vibes were excellent! It surpassed all my expectations. Bravo, we had an amazing experience! PS: The caramel passion cocktail was very good (although quite expensive), but the food was meh. PPS: ending with greek/corfiot style with Greek lyrics provided a punch of authenticity and soulfulness
This was a great Corfu Experience we had with the entire family. Great music with a storyline. Will book it again next time we're on Corfu.
What a wonderful evening, with sea views and surrounded by the mountains and the lapping boats vd Benitses Marina. Fantastic musicians, great food and great wine! Very nice host(s), who welcome the guests and talk the show together with humor and charm. This has been such a nice addition to our holiday! As night falls, the Mood changes from a beach square to a sultry open-air pop-up jazz club by the sea... enjoy! Good value for money by the way. Recommended!!!
