For future visits, our bus tours, with or without guide, may be a great alternative. We understand that a boat trip of several hours may feel long, especially if you were hoping for more scenic views or warmer water. However, we would like to kindly clarify a few points for future travelers who may read this review: The duration of the journey to Lindos is clearly stated in our tour itinerary, and as boats travel significantly slower than cars, a one-way trip does take approximately three hours. This time includes a scenic route along the coastline and swim stops, which many of our guests enjoy as a highlight of the day. Regarding the sea temperature in May, this is of course influenced by natural weather conditions and is unfortunately beyond our control. While some may find swimming refreshing, we understand that colder water can be less enjoyable for others. As for Lindos, it is indeed a beautiful yet historic village built long ago. The walk up to the Acropolis can be challenging, particularly under the sun, and we always recommend that guests come prepared with sun protection, including a hat and plenty of water. Unfortunately, we do not have influence over the town’s infrastructure, but we do our best to prepare our guests through advance information. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed your meal at Hermes and that you found the local dining to be reasonably priced. Thank you once again for your feedback.
