Nachdem wir Sie abgeholt haben, besuchen wir diesen wunderschönen Park, der 1993 eingeweiht wurde und in dem die „Liebe“ gefeiert wird. In der Mitte zeigt die ikonische Skulptur „The Kiss“ des peruanischen Künstlers Victor Delfin Liebende, die sich in einem endlosen Kuss umarmen.
Dann sehen wir diese antike archäologische Stätte, eine Pyramidenkonstruktion aus Lehm, die zwischen 200 und 700 n. Chr. erbaut wurde und einen Zeremonien- und Verwaltungsbereich für die Kultur Limas darstellt. Wir besichtigen Huaca Pucllana nur von außen, wir betreten es nicht.
Anschließend besichtigen wir die konservierten Olivenbäume, die mehrere hundert Jahre alt sind. Es gibt auch Exponate alter Maschinen, die in der Antike zur Herstellung von Olivenöl verwendet wurden, viel Grün und einen Zierteich mit Fischen und Schildkröten.
Dann fahren wir in das Künstlerviertel von Lima. Lassen Sie sich von den wunderschönen Wandgemälden überraschen, die Barranco zu einem so farbenfrohen und trendigen Ort machen. Machen Sie auch einen Wunsch an der „Seufzerbrücke“. MITTAGESSEN: Mittags gibt es eine Pause von 1 Stunde und 30 Minuten, damit Sie zu Mittag essen können. Wir empfehlen Ihnen einige gute lokale Restaurants.
Im zweiten Teil der Tour besuchen wir diese Plaza, die im 19. Jahrhundert zum Gedenken an 100 Jahre peruanische Unabhängigkeit errichtet wurde. Die umliegenden Gebäude sind großartig und weisen einen neoklassizistischen Stil auf.
Anschließend gehen wir zum Hauptplatz, dem repräsentativsten in Peru, wo Sie beeindruckende Gebäude wie den „Präsidentenpalast“, das „Rathaus von Lima“, die „Kathedrale“ und den Erzbischofspalast usw. sehen werden.

I had a great experience on this Lima city tour, made even better by our guide, Jonathan. He was friendly, welcoming, and very informative throughout the day. What impressed me most was how well he handled the group. There was another couple who only spoke Spanish, but Jonathan made sure everyone felt included and looked after, balancing both languages smoothly. The itinerary covered all the key highlights, and the skip-the-line access at the San Francisco Museum was definitely worth it — we avoided a long queue and got straight in. Overall, a well-organised and enjoyable tour. Highly recommended!

A lovely day in Lima! Great weather and tour covered the Miraflores, Barranco, San Isidro areas as well as downtown areas, Plaza de Armas, the cathedral and catacombs....a full day. We had lunch at Panchita and it was delicious Peruvian food. Both Susan and Jonathan were very friendly and enthusiastic about sharing the history and culture of their country and city. Had never been to Lima and was able to see and understand many of the city’s highlights! The transportation was also very good and timely.
Great way to see the key sights and sites in one day. Guide Alvaro was very helpful and flexible, allowing the group extra time to do things like get money changed or buy water, and knew his history too. Barranco was lovely and the olive trees too.
