Sie werden von Ihrer Unterkunft abgeholt.
Nachdem Sie von Ihrer Unterkunft abgeholt wurden, führen Sie zum historischen Zentrum des Plateaus, wo Sie einen kleinen Spaziergang durch die Jaime Mota-Militärkaserne machen, vorbei am Präsidentenpalast, dem Alexandre Albuquerque-Platz. Treffen Sie auf dem städtischen Markt (sonntags geschlossen) Einheimische und finden Sie eine Vielfalt an lokalem Obst und Gemüse.
Erkunden Sie den größten Souvenirmarkt der Kapverden. Anschließend fahren Sie in Begleitung eines professionellen Guides eine kurze Strecke nach Cidade Velha.
Ihr nächster Stopp ist in der Cidade Velha. Sie können leicht zu Fuß gehen, bis Sie die echte Festung von São Felipe erreichen, die ursprünglich zur Verteidigung der Stadt gegen Piratenangriffe erbaut wurde. Die Festung ist ein ausgezeichneter Aussichtspunkt aus einer Höhe von 120 Metern über dem Meeresspiegel .
Sie folgen den Ruinen der Kathedrale von Sé, der ersten von Europäern erbauten afrikanischen Kathedrale südlich der Sahara, und sehen Angler, die mit ihren traditionellen Booten voller frischer Fische vom Meer zurückkehren.
Sie besuchen den ehemaligen Sklavenmarkt in Pelourinho, die berühmte Bananenstraße mit ihren traditionellen Häusern, die Kirche Nossa Senhora do Rosário und schließlich das Kloster von São Francisco.

Excellent tour of Praia and Cidade Velha with a look at the history of the islands, the colonial Portuguese architecture and the warm and friendly people. Ivana was a great guide
We had a really nice tour with Allesandro. He was a very good driver, had a pleasant personality, and provided a lot of information about the various sights on the tour. The communication with the tour company was helpful and accurate. I would not hesitate to use this tour company and Allesandro again.

very nice friendly & instructive tour, getting counted story of discovery of cabo verde in 14ies century , by visiting this forteres , and green valley surrounding it, then visit of the old city president palace , & market, cultural & historical tour nicely accompagnied guided by ivana & driver who were realy friendly & profesionnal at the same time, i recommend a must do in Praia & for knowing the history of the country

The tour was very well organised and thorough, and the team from Bu Country Tours was super accommodating and easy to communicate with.
