Light and Sound Show at the Red Fort from Delhi I had one evening free in Delhi, and Memorable India arranged everything for me at short notice. Neeraj picked me up from my hotel, got me to the venue on time, and even suggested a quick dinner at Karim’s nearby. The show was beautifully narrated and gave a moving account of Delhi’s Mughal history. Highly recommended for an atmospheric evening in the city. Memorable India booked me front-row seats for the Red Fort Light and Sound Show, and it was worth every minute. Hari, my driver, picked me up from my hotel and gave me a short tour of Old Delhi before the show. The combination of lights, sound, and history really brought the fort’s past to life. A perfect short cultural outing.

Spectacular show. It was a definite first to watch live performances and dances at a light and sound show…. a must watch!!

Superb show that allows you to discover the fort and immerse yourself in Indian culture and history. Sound and light show and historical reconstructions by dancers. Duration 45 min approx. Not to be missed.

I watched the Light & Sound show at the Red Fort, Delhi and found it to be such an amazing & breath taking spectacle. It is an mermerizing journey through history bringing the Fort's past to life through its dramatic narration, the concept, the sound, lighting effects, the actors, the puppet show, animation, its stunning visual effects all were outstanding. I visited Red Fort on 15.02.2025 after almost 50 years and it stood so royally at night standing tall against the passage of time yet unyielding in it's grandeur. The sound & light show told stories of ages long gone, inviting those who stand before it to listen, to wonder, and to remember. The duration of the show is 1 hour. The entrance is from Lahori Gate. If you are coming by car, one has to park at the parking at Sunehri Gate and long walk upto Lahori Gate which is quite a walk. Not advisable for the elderly or kids. All over the world the elderly are taken care off. I don't know why the Red Fort management has not arranged payable Golf carts to the main gate. Such events are for all to enjoy and not only meant for the fittest.

The Light and Sound Show was mesmerizing. It beautifully narrates the history of the Red Fort, and the visuals are stunning. A great way to learn about India's past in an engaging way.

The guide was very informative and the show was great end to my full trip. The performance was lovely and on point.

What a horrible experience. The tour operator was only in contact with us about our pick up time. We were never notified of the show times or the fact that a tour guide would be with us as well. If the tour operator had let us know that the show time was late in the evening, we would have notified him that we could not attend and we would have cancelled in the provided cancellation time frame. Instead, since we were never notified, we showed up and realized we would not make the show as we had a flight out that night. In response, the tour operator refused to return our money and told Viator that they had tried to contact us. Interesting how they were able to contact us about our pick up time, but nothing else? This is not what we expected, horrible communication and even worse customer service.

Jai Hind- the revamped sound and light show at Red fort is a must see for any traveller to Delhi/India. It talks about the history of Red fort- beginning with the Shahjehan, the Mughal ruler who built Red fort to the freedom of India from British rule. The show is one of a kind using extraordinary puppets, live dance performances and the use of light and sound imagery. Tickets priced from inr 500-1500, all seats are very show friendly. Book the show in advance. One show each of Hindi and English every evening. Don't miss when in Delhi.
