Nach der Abholung von Ihrem Hotel in Johannesburg oder Pretoria reisen Sie zum Lesedi Cultural Village. Das Dorf zeigt die verschiedenen Stämme, die in Südafrika leben. Diese Stämme sind die Zulu, Xhosa, Pedi, Ndebele und Sotho. Sie werden durch das Dorf geführt und sehen die verschiedenen Baustile der einzelnen Stämme. Außerdem erfahren Sie mehr über die Kultur jedes Stammes und sehen ihre Kleidungsstile. Sehen Sie, wie sie ihre Perlen bearbeiten und wie der "Kral" aussieht, der ihr Vieh sicher hält. Nach der Tour durch das Dorf ist es Zeit, sich zu versammeln, um eine Stammestanzshow mit Musik und traditioneller Kleidung zu genießen. Pickup at home in Joburg at no extra cost, smooth ride in a comfortable van. Nice shops with reasonable prices for indigenous craft. Very interesting tour through rebuilt typical villages of various tribes. Good explanations about everything. Impressive dancing show again displaying typical dances from different tribes. And not to forget the rich buffet of very tasty original food - I actually ate way too much! Mirka

As a local South African, we are always reminded of the diverse cultures in South Africa. Yet, I think very few people really know and understand what it means. A visit to Lesedi Cultural Village, is truly an eye opener, and I can't think of any better way to See, Hear and Experience the way of other Cultures. You get to "visit" 5 types of "mini villages", and get a look-see of how they would live, and create their homes out in the vast South African lands. Its about 2-3 hours visit to the Village, walking in between the 5 villages. There is also a short sing and dance show. You then also have the option to enjoy a lunch or dinner with a variety of South African dishes. (They also have accommodation available for those who wish to try out the African Way of living.)
