Wir beginnen bei einem örtlichen Geschäft, das für seine hochwertigen Donuts bekannt ist – Do-Rite Donuts. Von dort aus gehen wir durch den Randolph-Korridor und erfahren etwas über die Geschichte von Chicagos West Loop, einem historischen Viertel, das seit seiner Zeit als industrielles Rückgrat der City of Big Shoulders eine Reihe von Revitalisierungen erlebt hat. Wir probieren die verrückten, mit Matcha angereicherten Kreationen eines versteckten Juwels – des Matcha-Cita-Cafés, wo Sie auf jeden Fall eine Pause für einen Fototermin einlegen müssen! Wir werden die übertriebenen Donut-Stylings eines Newcomer-Ladens genießen, der versucht, in die Szene einzudringen: Voodoo Donuts, eine Portland-Transplantation mit köstlichen Aromen und unerwarteten Toppings. Abschließend schlendern wir durch eine magische Gasse mit Backsteinmauerwerk aus alten Zeiten voller wunderschöner, floraler Straßenkunst, bevor wir bei Sawada Coffee ankommen, das dem weltberühmten Latte-Künstler Hiroshi Sawada gehört. Während unserer Reise erzählen wir Ihnen Anekdoten und die Geschichte der einzelnen Orte, der umliegenden Nachbarschaft sowie der Geschichte Chicagos im Allgemeinen.

Bei Do-Rite Donuts probieren wir einige ihrer erstaunlichen, wechselnden Geschmacksrichtungen. Wenn Sie Lust haben, gibt es auch ein tolles Brathähnchen-Sandwich, das Sie nach der Tour probieren können. Es ist phänomenal!
Während der Tour erkunden wir den West Loop und die Restaurant Row. Es ist zwar nicht viel Laufen, aber es reicht aus, um einige der Donuts loszuwerden, die Sie essen werden.
Voodoo Donuts ist ein unglaublicher neuer Donut-Laden in Chicago. Wenn Sie noch nicht hier waren, freuen wir uns sehr, es mit Ihnen zu teilen. Und wenn Sie schon einmal hier waren, wissen Sie, wie gut sie sind.

Our guide Emily was great! She was very energetic and seemed to really enjoy sharing with us as much as possible regarding the stops we made on the tour. We definitely had plenty of donuts to try during the tour.

Amazing tour by Jackson! We learned about the the crime underworld of Chicago while visiting four donut shops. Very full on donuts by the end!
