An diesem Stopp erkunden wir seine pulsierenden Imbissstände, entdecken den Ursprung seines ungewöhnlichen Namens und genießen die lebendige Atmosphäre, die es zu einem Liebling bei Einheimischen und Gourmets gleichermaßen macht.
Eingebettet in das jüdische Viertel des Marais, ist die Rue des Rosiers eine lebendige Straße voller Geschichte und Geschmack. Das Jardin de l’Hôtel de Sully liegt hinter einem großen Herrenhaus aus dem 17. Jahrhundert und bietet einen ruhigen Rückzugsort im Herzen des Marais. An diesem Stopp betreten wir diesen ruhigen Hofgarten, erfahren mehr über die Adelsfamilie, die hier einst lebte, und erkunden seine Verbindung zum nahe gelegenen Place des Vosges.
Der älteste geplante Platz in Paris, Place des Vosges, ist ein Meisterwerk der Symmetrie und Eleganz. Sherif was an absolutely wonderful guide! He is knowledgeable and personable. The tour includes a good array of tastings (paired with wine) and he takes you to places you wouldn’t necessarily find on your own. I highly recommend this excellent food tour with Sherif. The food, the wines, the atmosphere, and all the insights along the way were exactly what a good food tour should be. Sherif is not only a knowledgeable and entertaining guide, but a true foodie, and I have never met a guide with such deep knowledge and passion for cheese. Alongside the food and wine, we learned a lot about the history of the Marais and French food culture, and also had interesting conversations about French politics and the restaurant sector in France. It was great fun, with lots of laughter — the food was excellent, and the wines and company were every bit as good.
