Our trip was during the Laotian New Year (water festival) and many locations were closed or closed early. We were not informed before our trip or even upon booking. The tour guides in both Vientiane and Luang Prabang were knowledgable and informative. However, sometimes it was a bit overwhelming with too much information. For introverts, it's a bit too much when we don't have time to reflect.

First of all, we sincerely apologize for not informing you clearly in advance about the schedule changes during the Lao New Year (Bunpimay), when some attractions may close early or operate with limited hours.
