Amazing experience - highly recommend! We stayed in Varenna for our 25th wedding anniversary. One “must do” activity was a boat tour of Lake Como. We looked at all of the options and the clear value for money was Fauno Sailing. It is a 4 hour tour - with swimming, prosecco and snacks - all of which we love - for less than the 2 hour private motorboat tours. We thought it was worth a try and we were so right! Ricky is delightful - he is young, energetic and highly personable. He owns the boat and the business and is highly motivated for people to have a great time! The max number of passengers is six and we were lucky to sail with 3 terrific gals from Poland who are childhood friends but live across Europe now. There was plenty of room on the boat in several seating areas for us to have our own private experiences but also interact with friendly travelers. We loved every minute! Ricky is a great tour guide and provided excellent commentary, but our favorite parts were the swimming in the cool, beautiful lake, and the leisurely nap on deck we had while motoring back to Varenna. We loved it!

The best Lake Como boat tour ever! Easy to reach by train from milano, it took just one hour to reach the starting point Varenna to get on board. I was with my girlfriend and we did the shared tour, it was just perfect, we met a couple on a honey moon and a mother and daughter duo, so cute! The Captain Fauno showed us what dolce vita lenta is about, he also told us everything we needed to know in order to understand the cultural and historical good reputation about the Lake! After we had a good aperitivo, literally so Italian! On the boat everything tastes better: love, food, prosecco, and even the sun is brighter! Thank you Fauno sailing!

I cannot say enough about Ricky, our tour guide and captain. The experience was incredible. He provided in depth local observations, history, and recommendations. He created an atmosphere that was friendly, social and safe. The small group and price make this tour infinitely better than any experience using a motorboat. Ricky is both relaxed and confident, making the whole trip a breeze. I would stay with him for a full day if I could!

Ricky knew a great amount about the lake and all the villas. He was genuinely kind and a wonderful host. The apertivo and prosecco were and incredible touch. We even had a swim break if you wanted to get in. The group size was small at 6 which was wonderful. I recommend this trip to all.

Fabulous day on Lake Como with Ricci . Lovely food and drinks . Ricci had great knowledge of the lake and couldn’t do enough for us . Highly recommend this trip .

Ricky took us on an amazing tour of the lake. We loved the boat and the snacks and drinks he provided. You can tell he is passionate about his boat and business and he took phenomenal care of us. This was the highlight of our trip.

Had a great day on the water with Ricci. Everything went smoothly and Ricci was quick to respond and provided great info about where to go for pick up, etc…. The boat was immaculate and you can clearly see that Ricci loves his boat and making his guests happy. He was a great captain and paid close attention to safety and our comfort on board. We saw a lot of great scenery that is way better from the water view than staying on the shore. Saw a lot of great villas! Ricci had a lot of information that he shared about what we were seeing. Drinks and snacks were provided and delicious! There is a swim stop if you’re brave enough to jump in. Water was still a bit cold for us. All in all I recommend a trip with Ricci and his awesome boat!

Ricky and his mate Andrea provided us a lovely tour of the middle of the lake, my wife and I could not have wished for a better time! I highly recommend Ricky and his amazing yacht for the 4 hour tour of the lake. Delicious food and plentiful drink, absolutely nothing to complain about. Don't second guess about any other tours, for this is the one to do.

Spectacular day on the lake from start to finish!! Our captain, Ricky, was knowledgeable and a great host. His concern for safety and making sure his guests had an exceptional time is the reason you should book with him!
