Dieser malerische, 22 Meilen lange öffentliche See, der für sein klares, konstantes Wasser bekannt ist, verfügt über private Häuser am Wasser und an den Klippen sowie mehrere Restaurants an der Küste. Hier leben die Weltmeister-Wake-Surfer Ashley Kidd und Raleigh Hager und sind nur 20 Autominuten von der Innenstadt von Austin entfernt.
Diese Stahlbogenbrücke aus dem Jahr 1982 ist ein Wahrzeichen von Austin. Sie erstreckt sich über die Entfernung des Lake Austin (1.150 Fuß lang) und verbindet die Nord- und Südabschnitte des Capital of Texas Highway. Auf seiner stromaufwärtigen Seite befindet sich der Lake Austin und auf seiner stromabwärtigen Seite der Lady Bird Lake. Beide Stauseen sind eine Folge des Dammbaus.
Dieser schöne 5 Hektar große Park liegt fast 800 Fuß über dem Lake Austin. Die Klippen des Mount Bonnell bieten nicht nur eine Aussicht auf den See von oben, sondern auch auf die weitläufigen Hügel, die Austin umgeben.

This was a fun two hour experience with Spencer. He is very knowledgeable about the area and made the entire experience memorable. We will definitely book again if we end up back in Austin.

Wonderful experience with Spencer. The boat was clean, spacious and comfortable. He shared lots of interesting and funny information about the area, the lake and the beautiful homes. The sunset was stunning, a lovely way to spend an evening. I highly recommend this tour.
