Unsere Reise zur legendären Benagil-Höhle geht weiter mit atemberaubendem Küstenblick, beginnend vom atemberaubenden Praia do Torrado. Endlich erreichen wir das Kronjuwel der Algarve – Algar de Benagil, eines der atemberaubendsten und begehrtesten Reiseziele Portugals! Diese atemberaubende Meereshöhle mit ihren hoch aufragenden goldenen Mauern und der ikonischen sonnenbeschienenen Kuppel fühlt sich wie eine versteckte Kathedrale an, die von der Natur selbst geschnitzt wurde. Umrahmt von hoch aufragenden goldenen Klippen und geküsst von kristallklarem Wasser, ist dieses Paradies der perfekte Ort zum Entspannen. Wir nehmen ein erfrischendes Bad im türkisfarbenen Meer und genießen die Schönheit unserer Umgebung. Anschließend entspannen wir uns an Bord mit leckeren Snacks und genießen die letzten Momente dieser unvergesslichen Reise, bevor wir uns auf den Rückweg nach Lagos machen. Es ist der perfekte Abschluss eines epischen Abenteuers!
(Optionaler Extra-Stopp) Diese optionale zusätzliche Aktivität beinhaltet einen Halt an der Alvormündung, einer einzigartigen natürlichen Umgebung an der Algarve. An Bord genießen Sie die Flussstrände, umgeben von ruhigem und malerischem Wasser. Während des Stopps haben Sie Zeit, über kleine einsame Inseln zu laufen, sich in einer ruhigen Umgebung zu entspannen und im ruhigen, flachen Wasser zu schwimmen. I don’t say this lightly: this was the single most memorable thing I’ve ever experienced. Truly. We booked not knowing quite what to expect, and from start to finish it was exhilarating — the kind of day that has everyone grinning and a little breathless. What made it extraordinary was how it landed with the kids. They were thrilled the entire time, completely caught up in it, and watching them light up like that is something I’ll carry with me for a long time. Mad Max is the reason it worked. We booked a private tour with Algarve On Board on a bit of a whim, and it ended up being the highlight of our whole trip. Max made it that way. From the moment we stepped on board he had the balance exactly right — relaxed and easy to be around, but clearly someone who knows these waters cold. He took us along the cliffs and into the caves and grottoes, and every time we rounded a corner there was something that made us gasp. He knew precisely where to slow down, where to let us just sit and take it in, and where the light hit best for photos (he offered to take them without us even asking). What stood out most was how genuinely warm he was. He read the group perfectly — gave the kids a thrill, answered our endless questions about the coastline, and never once made it feel rushed or scripted. By the end it felt less like a tour and more like a day out with someone who really loves where he lives and wanted us to love it too. If you’re deciding whether to do this: do it, and hope you get Max. We’ll be back.

We had the most incredible day yesterday with Max touring the Algarve area. The views were spectacular, however, our host Max was the real star!
