An diesem Tag verlassen wir Ihr Hotel in Richtung Poás de Alajuela. Wir machen eine kurze Pause, um eine kurze Erklärung über unser goldenes Korn zu erhalten, den Kaffee, wo wir anhalten, um die Kaffeebüsche zu sehen, und haben auch die Möglichkeit, ein Foto des Ventraltals zu machen und von der Kaffeeplantage. Wir werden die Tour durch Farn-, Blumen- und Erdbeerkulturen fortsetzen. .

An diesem Tag verlassen wir Ihr Hotel in Richtung Poás de Alajuela. Wir machen eine kurze Pause, um eine kurze Erklärung über unser goldenes Korn zu erhalten, den Kaffee, wo wir anhalten, um die Kaffeebüsche zu sehen, und haben auch die Möglichkeit, ein Foto des Ventraltals zu machen und von der Kaffeeplantage. Wir werden die Tour durch Farn-, Blumen- und Erdbeerkulturen fortsetzen. Auf dem Weg zu den Wasserfällen von La Paz machen wir einen Zwischenstopp, um frische Erdbeeren zu probieren. Bei unserer Ankunft wandern wir auf einem wunderschönen Pfad, der zu verschiedenen Attraktionen des Parks führt, einschließlich der Voliere, dem größten Schmetterlingsobservatorium des Landes , die Kolibri-Galerie, das Serpentarium, die Ausstellung von Fröschen, Affen und Katzen. An diesem Ort erwartet uns mitten im Regenwald ein köstliches Mittagsbuffet. Am Ende des Mittagessens machen wir einen Spaziergang, bei dem wir drei imposante natürliche Wasserfälle besuchen können, die vom Rio La Paz selbst geformt wurden. Es ist zu beachten, dass diese Wanderung im feuchten Tropenwaldsektor stattfindet und in einigen Teilen der Route aus Stufen besteht.

This is a lot of steps but so worth it!!! Wear comfortable shoes and watch your step. I would definitely do it again! I also wouldn't see a need for a guide. Take your time and enjoy the beautiful scenery!
Wonderful place, the shelter is in excellent condition, the whole family really enjoyed learning about the animals that are there. The food at the restaurant was very good. The waterfalls are amazing, quite a sight. Overall the facilities are perfectly maintained, clean and in good condition, something super important when traveling with children. The staff is very friendly, you always feel welcome. But in our tour we have to make a special mention to our guide Mauricio Ulloa, from the pick up he told us about the history of the places we were passing, we had very enjoyable conversations, he was always very attentive to us and giving us the best tips and helping us to take incredible photographs. A highly recommended tour!!!

From our hotel in the heart of San José, it took us a little more than an hour to get to La Paz Waterfalls & Sanctuary. We hired the services of a guide and driver. The site has several points of interest, from the butterfly garden, sloth sanctuary, and so much more. The walk through the falls can be either moderately accessible (shorter in time) to more physically strenuous… all depending if you wish to go up and down to the base of the waterfalls. In any event, it’s worthwhile to take day and join a visit to the POAS National Park 20 minutes away.

Our tour guide, Frank was absolutely amazing!! He took us on the most magical day ever and made it extra special at each place we went. We learned so much from him about Costa Rica and traded Engilsh and Spanish words with each other. This is my honeymoon and my husband and I are SO happy we found this tour guide! The waterfalls were breathtaking and the animal sanctuary was beautiful. There's a whole butterfly and hummingbird garden too. Buffet lunch was delicious. Hands down one of the best days of my husband and my life! Ask for Frank, he's the best!!

An amazing place, very nice, we saw many animals and amazing vegetation, it has several very nice areas where you can see animals like pelicans, sloth, different types of birds, it has a very nice butterfly and the falls are beautiful as well as throughout the way you see an incredible amount of flora

we did the La Paz waterfall and animal sanctuary tour. the tour was a great time. the views were beautiful, the food was good, and the tour guide Franklin did an amazing job from letting us use an umbrella during the rain to explaining everything about the place and answering any questions we had. Franklin went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time.

Beautiful park with several different activities. Butterfly greenhouse, animals (monkeys, jaguar, ocelot...), birds, frogs. beautiful trails that lead to different falls. very beautiful landscape. A little expensive but worth the visit.
