Beschreibung

Well organised and knowledgeable guide. Stunning scenery and a lovely way to spend the day exploring the island.
La Gomera is worth a visit. The organization worked great, the tour guide was very friendly. Lunch good Canarian cuisine, as a surprise all drinks were also included for free, incl. entertaining pipe insert of the waiter.
Hi to all the team at Viajes Teide. A huge thank you to everyone involved with our booking and delivery of our open Top Jeep tour to La Gomera recently. Everyone was so helpful and it was well organised from the hotel pick up to instructions for the ferry and our kind and informative driver Peter who gave commentary in two languages English and Dutch! The tour was much more than we could have had hoped for. Lunch was delicious and we loved the exhibition of the unique whistling language which is a feature of the island. It was lovely to have a personalised tour with only four of us in the jeep. The other jeep drivers were so helpful and fun to be around. Well done Tamaran Jeeps! Please thank everyone, La Gomera is a fanaciting and beautiful island.
All right, both the tour and the explanations in the guide. The food in Garajonay, with typical local dishes, delicious and the cookies we recommended in interpretation center, too.
Booked for 2 adults, including myself, for a day trip in La Gomera Island day, lunch was also included. Got picked up from special pick up point - bus station and along with other people. Afterwards, we went towards the Ferry ship.⛴️ We had a normal ticket, which costs around €40 per person, and that's just ONE WAY. So it wasn't VIP or first class whatsoever. Which meant you must go quickly to find space to sit down if they weren't occupied. The travel duration ship is approximately 50 min from Tenerife to La Gomera. Once we arrived, we got to a mini bus, and our trip began. I personally disliked that our coach, who was speaking to a group of people, sounded like she was high and speaking so slow and talking in different weird tones. Also, trying to put on an American accent when she was speaking in English. However, when she speaks to one singular person, she speaks normally... We stopped at a restaurant, right on the national park, halfway through our trip. The lunch that we all got as a group didn't satisfy me. Looked like leftover food, and we all had to sit like in the kindergarten. It was awkward because people who had either families or were a couple had to sit next to strangers, silently from time to time. After an hour of continuing driving, we stopped at a bakery shop and a couple of museums. There was another shop but unfortunately it was unavailable. Bakery lady managed to scam one of us to buy her "last special honey," which at the end of the trip we found out there is exact same special honey of hers was selling else where for WAY less for what we brought for. The funny part was that our coach lady was in for it as well, persuading her people to buy them because they were "special." At the end of the day, the most interesting part out of this trip was sightseeing, which you'll get only a few stops there and there. Please make sure you DO actually wear something warm. It is absolutely freezing at the top of the La Gomera.
Great day meeting the Gomera with our great guide Mariana. We ate inside the Garajonay where they made us a sample of Homer whistle. The only bad thing is the spelling of the terrain, many curves but the local driver did very well.A beautiful island
It was worth the guided tour, very well the explanations of the guide. All beautiful very advisable.
Interesting, tiring excursion. Good discovery of the island of Gomera, we would have liked to have had more time on the last stop in San Sabastian (only 30 minutes) and spend less time during the meal (1h30). Not enough explanations from the guide.
The (early)start to the day was poor; the bus to take us to the central meeting point did not turn up and , although we did get to the port, the ferry was at 9.30, more than 90 minutes after our scheduled pickup. WHY SO EARLY? Most of the day was spent on the coach, with a 90 min break for lunch. Boring, to put it mildly! Our guide was multi lingual but was so very heavily accented that listening was an effort, and she never stopped talking. Then we had an hour to waste in San Sebastian when twenty minutes would have been adequate; nothing to do/see. Because of the timetable, the ferry back was 5.30. The pre-tour instructions did not make it clear it would be very cool and, quite possibly rainy ( which it was) All in all, a very disappoibting experience
A great excursion with a great guide (multilingual) to the wishes of the travelers was received. The driving times were not too long and gave great photo stops.I can recommend this trip
