We had an incredible experience on the Kyoto Early Morning Tour, and that was largely thanks to our amazing guide, Riana! From start to finish, she was incredibly pleasant, friendly, and super helpful. Her deep knowledge of Kyoto brought the history and culture of the sites to life in a way we wouldn’t have experienced on our own. We highly recommend this tour and would absolutely book another tour with Riana as our guide in the future!

A wonderful walking tour of Kyoto. Our guide kept us entertained and her narrative was very informative about the sites and religious traditions of Japan. It was a pleasure having Hinano as our tour guide.

Makoto Thomson was an amazing guide who patiently waited for us and helped us reach the pickup point without any stress. We had the most wonderful day with our guide, Mak. His knowledge, insight and warm approach made the tour thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish. He took great care to ensure we were comfortable throughout the day, especially in the heat, offering plenty of opportunities to stop, rest and refresh ourselves. Mak also went above and beyond by sharing practical tips and tricks for navigating Japan’s public transport system, which was incredibly helpful and gave us much more confidence for the rest of our trip. We had an amazing experience on our guided tour today. Seiji, our guide, was very knowledgeable and talked us through everything from the sights to the public transport, and life in Japan! As two jet lagged travellers he made it very fun and easy. Thank you so much! The Golden Palace, bamboo forest and Fushimi Inari were stunning and the early start time was worth it with crowds gathering as we left! And to be delivered to a street full of ramen at the end topped it off!! Thank you!

Great tour to see the most famous places in Tokyo. A good tour if you want the ease of a local showing you around and to learn about the history and culture of the area. Our guide Miyu was fantastic and made the morning interesting and enjoyable with her knowledge of the area. There is lots of walking so wear comfortable shoes and public transport so expect to be on crowded buses etc. but that all adds to the experience!
Our Kyoto Early Morning Tour was fantastic, it was great to be able to see some of the incredible culture and history of Kyoto before all the crowds came through BUT the BEST part of our tour was hands down the efforts of our guide - Yuya! He was so incredibly lovely, very knowledgeable on the history of each location, so easy to talk to and to get to know. He took the time to talk to each person, ask what they like, open a conversation about these topics and also took the time to provide each person with individualised recommendations on food, places to visit, etc. I can easily say Yuya will be our most memorable guide of our entire trip!!!
