- The studio "Shiki" is located along the Kiyomizu-zaka approach to Kiyomizu-dera Temple (Kiyomizu 2-chome, Higashiyama). Please come directly to the studio reception at your reserved time.
Beschreibung
A rare combination of two Kyoto traditions in one plan: transform into a maiko or samurai with professional make-up artists and kimono dressers, then take part in a real tea ceremony in costume at a nearby tea house, grinding and preparing the matcha yourself. The tea house is only a 5-minute walk from the studio near Kiyomizu-dera Temple, so the whole experience fits comfortably into a half day of sightseeing in Kyoto's Higashiyama district.
