Beautiful studio and even more wonderful experience! We had a lot of fun trying to write Kanjies, and we have learned very much, in addition.

It was such a wonderful experience! We learned a lot about the japanese writing, excersizing with the brush and the ink and even wrote our own name. I would definetely recommend it for everyone!

Ray was very nice and very patient with teaching the kanji. It was a nice and pleasant atmosphere. We were able to learn a lot and also ask questions, all of which he was able to answer for us. We can recommend it to anyone who is in Kyoto.

Really great experience, the guide spoke pretty much perfect English as he'd studied in the USA. He explained how to form and write the Kanji and their meaning. The place felt very authentic, and we got a nice gift to take home at the end of a Kanji of whatever we wanted on a nice scroll.

Top, I recommend it if you love calligraphy, a good first approach.
