Had a great time.Sanka our guide was extremely polite and professional, would highly recommend him as your guide. The tour met our expectations and more
We had an amazing day sightseeing in Kyoto with Sankalpa! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience enjoyable for my family. The day was filled with fun, beautiful places, and great memories. He made sure everything went smoothly and helped us enjoy Kyoto in a relaxed and memorable way. We truly appreciated his kindness and effort in making our family trip special.
Please do not book this tour the driver never come to pick us up kept wait for an hour no calls were answer finally at the end we cancel the tour it’s not Viator fault it’s the company they contracted with . Our whole day went bad because last minute we could not book anything .
No one contact and come to pick me up. I’ve already sent my pick up location.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. We understand how frustrating it must have been not to be contacted or picked up as expected. We kindly ask you to contact us directly with your booking details so we can investigate this matter further. Your pickup location was noted, and we would like to check what went wrong and resolve this issue as soon as possible.
Talha was very obliging and took good care of us. He is knowledgeable and we found him to be a great tour guide for our first time Kyoto visit.
We’re delighted to hear that you had a great experience with Talha. It’s wonderful to know that he took good care of you and helped make your first visit to Kyoto enjoyable and memorable. We truly appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you again in the future.
Eddie was fantastic! We had a private tour, in English for the day. Eddie is friendly, fun and has a comfortable and clean economy ride. He was flexible with what we wanted to do and made great suggestions for our day. 5 star all the way. I gave a 4-star only because we didn't get much history or information on the spots we visited. The fact we did everything we wanted, plus his fabulous suggestions made it awesome. Thank you for such a memorable day. We all felt like we made a friend.
Thank you, Yash, for your excellent guidance and professionalism while showing us the region’s top attractions, especially during such a busy and crowded time. Your knowledge, patience, and ability to navigate everything smoothly made the experience truly enjoyable and stress-free for us. We had an amazing time throughout the tour, and having a personal guide made a huge difference. Your insider knowledge, thoughtful explanations, and flexibility allowed us to see and experience so much more than we could have on our own. On top of that, your talent as an AAA-level photographer ensured we came away with fantastic memories and beautiful photos from every stop. The comfortable, zippy car and your efficient planning helped us make the most of our day without feeling rushed. Overall, it was a fun, memorable, and incredibly valuable experience, and we truly appreciate the effort you put into making our day special.
Not really a tour but a drive. You are given time at the various places but you are effectively on your own. Our driver was fine, although confusion over pick up point delayed the start by 45 mins. Highly recommend getting a specific as possible pick up point, not just railway/hotel exit as there are many exits. Communication is via a Pakistan link so you need your phone to be aware. Lunch was brilliant.
The activity made wonderful use of the time available, allowing us to experience most of Kyoto’s major attractions in a single day without ever feeling disorganized. The itinerary was thoughtfully designed and carefully tailored to our interests, which made the entire experience feel personal, seamless, and far more meaningful than a standard sightseeing tour. Every stop felt purposeful, and the pacing reflected a genuine consideration for our preferences and comfort. Our guide, Dhanu, was truly exceptional throughout the day. His warm personality, professionalism, and attentive nature made a significant difference to our overall experience. He ensured we felt at ease at every moment, particularly by giving us ample time to soak in the beauty of Arashiyama at a relaxed pace, which we greatly valued. His enthusiasm for Kyoto was infectious, and his ability to share insights and stories about each location brought the city’s history and charm vividly to life. In addition to his guiding skills, Dhanu demonstrated remarkable photography talent. He went out of his way to help us capture stunning photographs at some of the most picturesque spots, thoughtfully suggesting ideal angles and scenic viewpoints to preserve these memories beautifully. His cheerful encouragement and genuine care added warmth and joy to the journey, making even the longest moments feel engaging and rewarding. Overall, his dedication and passion transformed the tour into a truly memorable experience, one that allowed us not only to see Kyoto, but to feel its essence in a deeply enjoyable and enriching way.
Was not overly pleased as it felt like we just had a private driver but nothing really more. There was a lack of enthusiasm from the guide which in a way makes sense when you have an expat doing this that does not fully understand Japanese culture and history. We expected lot more. I will give credit for the effort on the part of the guide being flexible and helpful but overall our expectation and value for the money we paid was dismal.
