The guide had a very strong accent and combined with a very poor PA system on the bus you could not understand what she was saying. The seating on the bus was very cramped
Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased that you were able to visit Kutná Hora and its remarkable historical sites. We appreciate your comments regarding the audio quality and seating comfort and will take them into consideration. Silvia
The day was nice. The bone church was very interesting and unique, however they do not allow photos,
Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed the day and found the Bone Church interesting and unique. We appreciate your recommendation and hope you had a wonderful time in Kutná Hora. Silvia
Good access to sites and transportation was very nice. Lots of free time but still stayed on schedule and got good info. No mic system so not a great option if you’re hard of hearing or wanted a more intense tour, talking was quite low level.
Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed the overall experience and found the tour informative. Silvia
Great day trip from Pague. Though time was a little rushed our great guide Helen made sure we got hundreds of years of history. Sights were great!
Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed the day and appreciated the time with our guide. Silvia
I really would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Prague, the drive is long but more than worth it to see the ossuary alone, it was just a bonus that we got to see the cathedrals too. Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable on the history of Kutna Hora and Prague in general, he kept everything light and entertaining without being overbearing. A couple of things to note when you are visiting that we weren't aware of: 1: you cannot take photos inside the ossuary 2: there are no free public toilets so you must make sure you bring change (20czk) The tour was incredible and really well timed so we got an even amount of time in each area and got to have an hour of free time wandering around the town of Kutna Hora and grab some lunch. I would have given this trip 5* but unfortunately the driver dampened the experience slightly, with his erratic driving (tailgating and taking corners at an uncomfortable speed)
Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We’re very pleased to hear that you found the excursion worthwhile, enjoyed the historical sites, and appreciated the guide’s knowledge and engaging approach. We also value your practical notes, which can be helpful for future visitors. Your comments regarding the drive are noted as well. Thank you for joining the tour and for your honest review. Silvia
This is a very long tour with no time for stopping and appreciating the cathedrals etc. Tour felt very rushed. We were not warned prior that we required exact cash to use the toilets in Kutnà Hora - this become a very desperate and humiliating experience when we had to find a cash machine to withdraw cash, was then sternly spoken to by the toilet attendant for not having a smaller amount as she would not give change, then we were sternly looked at for being late back to the bus. Very awkward and embarrassing for what should be a basic human right - to use a toilet. We would have all like to wander around the magnificent St Barbara’s cathedral at our own pace to take photos, appreciate the art and history and to even just sit and pray but we were constantly hurried along and told to not wander off. There were no opportunities to purchase gifts from anywhere. The tour guide was too softly spoken and could barely be heard.
Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re sorry to hear that the tour did not meet your expectations. The itinerary is structured to cover several key sites within a limited time frame, and the schedule must be respected to ensure the smooth running of the day for all participants. Facilities such as public restrooms and their payment conditions are managed locally and are outside of our direct control. We appreciate your feedback regarding pacing and communication, as it helps us review how the experience is delivered. Silvia
Horrible Tour. Make sure you eat something as your tour leaves around 12:30 pm and you don’t arrive back until almost 7:00 pm. They allowed us no time to eat lunch, saying that this was a tour, not a lunch. We also got to The Bone Church and this company screwed up on our reservation. Our tour guide had to go straighten it out while we stood outside the church for almost 30 minutes waiting for him to go to the ticket office. What a waste of time. We could have used this time for lunch.
We’re sorry to hear about your experience and completely understand your frustration. The tour schedule is always provided in advance, including that there’s no lunch stop due to the limited time and number of sites visited. Occasionally, unexpected issues such as ticket confirmations can happen — it’s rare, but unfortunately sometimes beyond our immediate control. Our guide did their best to resolve the situation as quickly as possible. We truly appreciate your understanding. Silvia
The guide was great! Very accommodating with the fact that I have limited walking! She was very knowledgable! However, the driver was very grumpy. Didn’t even want to leave our bags on the bus!
Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the tour and that our guide was helpful and knowledgeable. Silvia
Nice to get out of Prague and see the outside region.Nice thing to see. No need to write so much (100).
Merci pour votre retour ! Nous sommes ravis que vous ayez apprécié la sortie et les paysages de la région. Silvia
We had the worst tour guide in Eve. She spoke in monotone the entire trip. Even the interesting facts were delivered in such a way that it felt flat. What was worse, whenever we stopped at an artifact, she would deliver her comments looking at the artifact rather than facing us. We had a hard time hearing what she was saying. She would then start walking to the next artifact and continue talking so only the two people right next to her could hear. We had a group of 18. She was also bad at giving clear instructions. She would say we will regroup in 10 minutes than providing precise time. Some people got back in 10 mins and the others were late. At the e d of the trip we lost 3 of the 18 guests and the rest of us had to wait for 40 minutes hoping they would turn up to the right spot. In the end we had to get back to Prague without these 3 people. Everyone we spoke to before this trip raved about our Kutna Hora. Unfortunately, we had a very bad experience. It goes to show a bad tour guide could turn what could have been a fantastic tour to a disastrous one.
We’re sorry to hear that your experience did not fully meet expectations. Our guides, including Eva, are usually highly appreciated by other guests, but we understand that each group may experience things differently. Regarding the missing guests, we always encourage everyone to follow meeting points and times carefully, as we unfortunately cannot control individual delays. We do value your feedback and will use it to improve clarity and comfort for future groups. Silvia
