We started the tour with a trip to Gelati, the complex was closed because of restauration work in progress, but our guide Teona from Medgobari Tours showed us two churches and an old hospital, from where we has a great view. Then we visited Motsameti and Bagrati; the first with wonderful views over the greenery and river, the second with a perfect view over Kutaisi. Thank you, Teona!
Teona was delightful on this 3-hour excursion to see 3 Monasteries in the area. It’s a great way learn even more about the history of Georgia as a whole along with the Monasteries. note: Gelati Monastery was completely covered in exterior scaffolding and non-accessible which was a disappointment, but Teona came up with another idea and we walked up the hill nearby and saw an absolutely adorable little church with ancient interior paintings. Recommend.
Dear Karen, Thank you for nice feedback! Glad you enjoyed your experience with Megobari Tours Georgia and our great guide Teona! Welcome back anytime!
the tour was very pleasant and Eva was a kind, competent and attentive guide to all our needs. it allowed us to visit all the cathedrals in the area in a short time with very interesting explanation.
Wonderful experience. IEVA drove very well and we were privileged for her explanations and careful treatment. It was an hour longer than we were comfortable with. Georgia is better known now. Thank you 🧡 IEVA
IEVA is very prepared and was extremely attentive and dynamic, making the experience agile and enjoyable. He showed us part of Georgia's history through the monasteries we saw
Very interesting and informative experience with an excellent guide. Highly recommended! The churches are full of history and Georgian culture.
We are 4 adults and we travelled for a vacation in Georgia during the last week of June. We decided to book tours with Megobari and it was the best decision we ever made. Mikheili was our guide who received us at Kutaisi airport. We spent 2 nights in Kutaisi and 3 nights in Batumi. By the end of the trip, he wasnt our guide anymore, he became our friend. He was very friendly and helpful and we loved spending time with him. We would like to thank Eva as well from Megobari who arranged everything for us. The level of professionalism and friendliness this office has is beyond amazing! We definetly recommend using this tour agent for any trip you have in Georgia. We want to thank Mikheili and Eva for making our trip so memorable 💖
Vaso, our guide, was super kind, fun, and knowledgeable. Even though the weather was terrible he made sure that we could take our time to walk around the monasteries and stop whenever we wanted to. He catered to our needs (my mum is getting older and her pace wasn't exactly the fastest) and did his best to make the most of the day. Moreover, he went the extra mile to get to know us and took an interest in our trip to Georgia. Overall a very enjoyable experience and a convenient tour, since it would have been impossible for us to reach the monasteries on our own and we would have missed out a lot of details had it not been for Vaso's commentary. We will return, for sure! Madloba :)
Both Eva and her partner were fantastic and brilliant in explaining all the things we passed by. They went out of their way to make sure all was a wonderful experience and we were extremely impressed and comfortable.
Thank you once again for taking the tour with Megobari Tours & I hope you are enjoying the rest of your trip in Georgia! Thank you for beautiful words & welcome back again anytime! Eva
