Worum geht es bei dieser Tour: Dies ist ein ganztägiger Ausflug von Udaipur in die Berge der Aravalli-Kette, um das beeindruckende Kumbhalgarh-Fort und die Ranakpur-Tempel zu sehen. Dinge, die wir sehen werden: Kumbhalgarh: Die Festung Kumbhalgarh wurde auf einem Hügel mit einer Höhe von 1100 Metern erbaut und verfügt über Begrenzungsmauern mit einer Länge von 36 Kilometern, von denen behauptet wird, dass sie nach der Chinesischen Mauer die längste der Welt sind. Die Stirnwände sind fünf Meter dick. Kumbhalgarh hat sieben befestigte Tore. Über 360 Tempel befinden sich in der Festung, 300 alte Jain und der Rest Hindu. Die Aussicht von der Palastspitze reicht in der Regel mehrere zehn Kilometer bis in die Aravalli Range. Ranakpur: Ranakpur beherbergt eine Sammlung von Jain-Tempeln, die in ihrer Schönheit ihresgleichen suchen. Der Tempel in Ranakpur ist Adinatha gewidmet, dem ersten Jain Tirthankara (spiritueller Führer), der den Kreislauf der Wiedergeburt erobert und Erleuchtung erlangt hat.
