The professionalism and great passion of Nodir, our guide, made the difference, making this trip truly unforgettable!! Heartfelt thanks!!
On our 12-day trip through Uzbekistan with Oybek, and 8 days through Kyrgyzstan with Gulmeiyz, we got to know an unforgettable, interesting new world. With his knowledge and professional manner, Oybek was the best tour guide one could wish for. He brought us a little closer to the culture, various religions, and eras of his beautiful country. We highly recommend DOCA TOURS. You are in very good hands there. Brigitte and Alfredo Criscuolo from Switzerland
With the help of Nodir, a formidable guide, we structured an eleven-day trip, two of which were in Tajikistan in the seven lakes area. The entire organization was impeccable both regarding the choice of hotels and the attention to detail for transfers and visits. Nodir was not only an exceptional guide but also a precious travel companion, attentive to all needs but at the same time discreet and respectful. The means of transport were excellent, and the drivers who took turns throughout the trip were attentive. The accuracy of the organization made a trip that was born from a long-held desire even more unforgettable, and it allowed us to get to know an affable, hospitable people with a profound culture.
Nodir described his people to us with such passion and love that it was difficult to say goodbye to Uzbekistan without wanting to return!
Beautiful experience. A superb guide (Nodir) who, with passion and expertise, as well as in perfect Italian, accompanied us on this journey of discovery of art, history, and also the soul of this country. Absolutely recommended.
It is difficult to share an experience that was not just a tourist trip, although it obviously was, but was above all a journey of the soul, masterfully accompanied by the welcome, hospitality, and inclusion of Nodir Ostanov. Nodir, more than a tour operator, is a guide who accompanies you through the most hidden corners of the history, culture, and personality of Uzbekistan. Expertise and efficiency provided a splendid backdrop to our wonderful journey. Garda Z'or. Exceptional
I just returned from the trip to Uzbekistan, made with my wife and the guide Nodir. I read the reviews and fully agree with the enthusiastic ratings reported by everyone. Uzbekistan is a beautiful country to visit, booming, with the desire to overcome the disasters of past political regimes. Making the journey with Nodir means entering the history, the reality of the country, the traditions and the soul of the people. Seeing Uzbekistan with Nodir is very different than taking a regular guided tour. Precise, reliable, correct, but above all capable of transmitting passion for his craft, which goes far beyond that of driving. His perfect Italian (and also knowledge of many realities of Italy) makes the journey even easier and more enjoyable.
I recently returned from an 11-day trip to Uzbekistan with Doca Tours and I recommend this outfitter highly. From the initial communication to the pre-trip to the actual tour, my experience was first-rate the entire time. With Alexander's help, I crafted an 11-day Uzbekistan tour that encompassed the Aral Sea and the Silk Road stops of Khiva, Bukhara and Samarkand. Particular hightlights were staying in a yurt camp overlooking the Aral Sea; magical snowy nights in Khiva and Samarkand; and exploring cultural heritage in places like Bukhara and Shahrishabz. I enjoyed the private walking tours and also liked all the accommodations that were chosen. In particular, the Kamil Guest House in Bukhara was wonderful. Throughout my tour, Doca was in touch with me to make sure the trip was going smoothly. When I caught a cold in Tashkent, the team went out of its way to make sure I got to a pharmacy and was treated accordingly. On my last night in Uzbekistan, I visited the Doca office in Samarkand and was treated to a spontaneous kebab dinner at a locals-only restaurant. It's this type of personal service and hospitality that Doca is known for, and it was the perfect ending to an unforgettable trip. I would highly recommend Doca tours, and I personally plan to use them again when planning my next trip to Central Asia.
Oybek was an incredible travel companion. His knowledge fascinated us. It was all perfectly organized. It couldn't be better!
Most amazing customised trip to Uzbekistan, starting from Tashkent and finishing in Samarkand with a variety of experiences along the way. Great guides in all cities: professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to know. Our drivers were friendly and always ready to 'go the extra mile' to ensure we enjoyed even the longest trips, taking us to Lakes in the desert and across mountain passes. Our hosts in the mountain village were extremely kind, even having a vegetarian meal especially prepared for me. Everyone went above and beyond to create a safe yet exciting and most memorable holiday. Looking forward to exploring Central Asia further with Doca Tours.
