Das India Gate ist ein Kriegsdenkmal auf dem Rajpath, am östlichen Rand der "Zeremonialachse" von Neu-Delhi, früher Kingsway genannt. Es ist ein Denkmal für 70.000 Soldaten der britisch - indischen Armee, die zwischen 1914 und 1921 im Ersten Weltkrieg in Frankreich, Flandern, Mesopotamien, Persien, Ostafrika, Gallipoli und anderswo im Nahen und Fernen Osten gestorben sind der zweite anglo-afghanische Krieg.
Das Rote Fort ist ein historisches Fort in Delhi in Indien, das als Hauptresidenz der Mogulkaiser diente.
Die Masjid e Jahan Numa, allgemein bekannt als die Jama Masjid von Delhi, ist eine der größten Moscheen in Indien. Es wurde zwischen 1650 und 1656 vom Mogulkaiser Shah Jahan für eine Million Rupien erbaut und von Imam Syed Abdul Ghafoor Shah Bukhari aus Buchara, dem heutigen Usbekistan, eingeweiht.
Humayuns Grab ist das Grab des Mogulkaisers Humayun in Delhi, Indien. Das Grab wurde von Humayuns erster Frau und Gemahlin, Kaiserin Bega Begum, in den Jahren 1569-70 in Auftrag gegeben und von Mirak Mirza Ghiyas und seinem Sohn Sayyid Muhammad, von ihr ausgewählten persischen Architekten, entworfen.
Das Qutb Minar, auch als Qutab Minar oder Qutub Minar geschrieben, ist ein Minarett, das Teil des Qutb-Komplexes ist, der zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe im indischen Mehrauli-Gebiet in Delhi gehört. Qutb Minar ist ein 73 Meter hoher, sich verjüngender Turm mit fünf Stockwerken und einem Basisdurchmesser von 14,3 Metern, der sich an der Spitze des Gipfels auf 2,7 Meter verringert.
Der Lotus-Tempel in Delhi, Indien, ist ein Bahá'í-Gebetshaus, das im Dezember 1986 eingeweiht wurde. Er ist bekannt für seine blumenähnliche Form und hat sich zu einer bedeutenden Attraktion in der Stadt entwickelt. Wie alle Gebetshäuser der Bahá'í steht der Lotus-Tempel allen offen, unabhängig von Religion oder anderen Qualifikationen.

This was not the best tour we have taken. The guide didn't seem interested or enthusiastic and didn't share many details about the sites we visited. The tour price did not include entrance fees or lunch so the total price was considerably more than listed on the site. The restaurant was expensive - more than we regularly pay to eat out. We would have liked a choice. The tour finished with a visit to a high-pressure visit to a carpet factory. This was not listed on the itinerary, and we didn't appreciate the tactics of the sales person. On the plus side, the Lotus Temple is beautiful, and the India Gate was impressive. Just rent a tuk-tuk or taxi and visit it yourself. Save your time and money for the incredible Taj Mahal and Agra Fort.

Had a fantastic trip around Delhi seeing amazing sites and learning a lot. It was very well organised and the driver was both nice and professional. The tour guide we had was the star of the show.
