Der Mahane-Yehuda-Markt veranschaulicht die Vielfalt der israelischen Gesellschaft und die daraus resultierenden Lebensmittel der verschiedenen ethnischen Gruppen. Zwischen einem Bissen Sabich und einem Bissen Kenafe hören wir die Geschichte der Gründer des Marktes, die verschiedenen Lebensmittel und den Künstler, der eines Nachts beschloss, die Geschäfte mit Graffiti zu schmücken und den Markt in eine Galerie zu verwandeln.

Wir werden eines der Viertel von Nachlaot besichtigen und verstehen, warum ein Bedarf für einen Markt in der Nähe bestand.

Orna was terrific. Intelligent, educated and fun to be with. Her command of the history and religions in Jerusalem is nothing short of extraordinary.
