Ganztagesabenteuer : Kulen Mountain, Beng Mealea und Tonle Sap : Wir holen Sie zwischen 7 : 30 - 8 : 00 Uhr von Ihrem Hotel ab – bitte warten Sie bis Punkt 7 : 30 Uhr in der Lobby. Das wird ein voller Tag, aber glaub mir, jede Minute ist es wert.
Zuerst geht es direkt ins echte Kambodscha. Sie werden sehen, wie die Einheimischen ihre Morgenroutinen, endlose Strecken mit smaragdgrünen Reisfeldern und diese klassischen Holzhäuser auf Stelzen durchleben. Unser erster Halt? Das Palm Sugar Village, wo Familien seit Generationen traditionellen kambodschanischen Zucker auf die gleiche Weise herstellen. Beobachten Sie den gesamten Prozess von der Palme bis zu süßen, goldenen Kristallen.
Das ist großes Zeug – der eigentliche Geburtsort des Angkor-Imperiums. Wir erklimmen den Gipfel des Kulen Berges für diese atemberaubenden Aussichten, dann besuchen wir den massiven liegenden Buddha direkt in den Fels gehauen. Der Fluss der tausend Lingas ist der nächste – diese uralten Schnitzereien im Flussbett sind absolut atemberaubend. Dieser Standpunkt ist genau das, wonach er klingt. Der Panoramablick erstreckt sich über Schluchten und Wälder, soweit Ihre Augen blicken. Nur einen kurzen Spaziergang vom Parkplatz entfernt, aber die Bezahlung ist unglaublich.
Stellen Sie sich einen 8 Meter langen liegenden Buddha vor, der direkt in den Berghang gehauen ist – wir sprechen hier von 1000 Jahren Pilgern, die genau diesen Aufstieg machen, den Sie gleich machen werden. Einheimische Familien zünden Weihrauch an, Mönche verrichten stille Gebete, und irgendwie scheint dieses alte Steingesicht den Ausdruck mit dem wechselnden Licht zu verschieben. Spirituell oder nicht, hier zu stehen trifft einfach anders.
Tausende heilige Fruchtbarkeitssymbole, die Priester aus dem 11. Jahrhundert in das eigentliche Flussbett gehauen haben – und fließendes Wasser in Weihwasser für das gesamte Königreich Angkor verwandeln.
Hier wird dein Tag richtig gut. Kristallklare Pools, gespeist von kalkgefiltertem Bergwasser, Picknick auf glatten Felsen mit Wasserfällen als Soundtrack. Dann kommt dieses Schwimmen – kaltes Wasser (die Weck-dich-sofort-gütig) in Pools, so rein, dass Sie jeden Kieselstein sehen.
Nach dem Mittagessen geht es zu etwas ganz Besonderem. Der Beng Mealea Tempel ist, wie Angkor Wat aussehen könnte, wenn die Natur ihn letztendlich zurückerobern würde. Dieser Tempel wurde im 12. Jahrhundert erbaut und ist absolut von Dschungelreben und massiven Baumwurzeln umgeben. Es ist roh, authentisch und fühlt sich an, als wärst du der Erste, der es findet.
Unser letzter Halt führt uns zu einem der faszinierendsten schwimmenden Dörfer Kambodschas. Diese Familien leben ihr ganzes Leben auf dem Wasser, umgeben von hoch aufragenden Stelzenhäusern und dichten Mangrovenwäldern. Wir besuchen ein buddhistisches Kloster, das auf einer künstlichen Insel erbaut wurde – es ist anders als alles, was Sie zuvor gesehen haben.

It was such a knowledgeable & comfortable fun tour. Mr Monly gave us quite a handful information about Cambodia & all the local places we visited. I had a great trip with my family to Kulen Mountain and Lake Ton Le Sap with our wonderful guide Mr. Sam and driver Mr. Sothea. The attractions are definitely worth a visit but also the lunch was great. (As vegetarians we had no issues whatsoever with getting a delicious alternative after request.) All in all I had a wonderful day :)

Excellent trip from start to finish. Bus driver was Mr Sothea drove very carefully on some very bumpy roads. Ms Sam was our guide and was very knowledgeable and took time to answer everyone's questions and take loads of pictures.

Wonderful full day out- so many experiences. Mr Sam was a phenomenal guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. Experiences included food tasting, swimming in the waterfalls, seeing how a variety of indigenous cultures live in the mountains and by the lake and of course visiting a temple, although this was the remains of an ancient temple and much more interesting. Sothea was also a great driver on some very small roads. Cold water and towels were much appreciated. Thank you, an incredible day out.
