Great trip but busy

Waterfalls were beautiful but very busy, too many people to enjoy fully. Pick up was confusing as the driver insisted that we pay, for the park entrance tickets, on the bus, in cash. He gave us no option to pay at the park instead, he wouldn’t let us on the bus without payment. Luckily we had enough cash. It all worked out, as that meant we only paid 30 euros, rather than 40, but it would have been good to understand that’s what was expected.

Beautiful Krka Waterfalls but disappointing tour

Before booking this tour make sure you understand that you are actually booking a coach transfer (not a trip for max 20 people as advertised) to the Krka National Park. Entrance to the park is an additional 30 Euros per person and once you are there be aware that if you are going predominantly to see waterfalls you DO NOT need to buy a trip on the boat at an additional 15 Euros per person. Our driver spoke very little English so although we explained that we wanted to go to the waterfalls he pushed us (as did the information desk at the entrance to the park) to purchase a ticket for the boat trip to the monastery. This is a nice enough trip but it takes more than 2 of the 3 hours you have to spend at the park so afterwards there was insufficient time to spend at the waterfalls. The park itself is beautiful and worth the trip but be sure you know what you are getting when you book this tour.

Stunning place..must see, great tour

We booked this tour through our hotel as it was a MUST for me whilst we were in Croatia. I was NOT disappointed!! The bus drive there was pleasant, comfortable and had a toilet which was good as the journey was a longer one! We were handed a sheet of information about the area we were going, as we had an extra stop in a town which was also very nice. The tour was not guided (wasn't expecting it to be), we were given a time to come back to the bus and were left to tour at our leisure. The place was stunning, and this trip is 100% worth it!! You may need some cash as we did have to pay extra for the ticket into the national park (we weren't told, but everyone else on the tour seemed to know, so was just a mistake from our hotel when booking, not a problem)

A great way to spend a day

Bus was 20 minutes late in the morning but otherwise a great experience. We liked that the whole time both in Sibenik and Krka was free time to enjoy the views. The duration of the stays 1,5 h and 3 h were good.

Beautiful views but disappointed to not be able to swim in the waterfalls.

The waterfalls/national park were beautiful. We were quite disappointed to find out that you can no longer swim in the waterfalls or anywhere in the park as a friend of ours had done this when she went last year. Since January 2021 they have changed it so that no swimming/bathing is allowed. The city of Trogir was also lovely. Overall we spent about 5hours on the coach throughout the day travelling which was a lot more than we had anticipated. We paid £40 each for the coach and entry to trogir and entry to the national park was a further £20 each on the day which again was more than we expected. Was worth it for the beautiful views.

River closed for swimming

We weren't aloud to swim in the river, picture misleading. Very expensive to eat and drink in the park.

Terrible

Great booking process with happy to visit but do not use Exploro Tours! Worst company. The driver forgot to pick us up so we waited for an hour just to be informed that we could not go because he was already on the road to Krka. We were in contact with Exploro Tours during the wait but the driver must have been in so much of a hurry that he just “forgot” us. He didn’t even call us or anything. Terrible experience. We asked Exploro Tours if they could get a driver or taxi so we could go but they didn’t helped us out. Now we are leaving Croatia without experiencing Krka. Unbelievable.

Day trip to Trogir and Krka Waterfalls

Loved this. Unfortunately it rained in the morning on the way to Trogir but our driver kindly lent me an umbrella and the Waterfalls were superb. 75 kunas to get in the falls as we were slightly out of season. Driver was great despite long traffic queues on the way back due to cyclists. Police seemed to close the road off very early hence the trip back to Tucepi took over 3 hours. Frustrating for everyone. Good value for the transfer money though.

Recommend it

We had a nice day from the beginning when we got picked up untill we got back to our accommodation. Everything run smoothly. The driver was very friendly and helpful and the minibus very comfy, air conditioned and clean. Would totally recommend it.
