Weiterfahrt nach Gjakova, berühmt für sein osmanisches Kulturerbe und den historischen Alten Basar, wo Sie gepflasterte Straßen erkunden und das authentische lokale Leben genießen können. Reiseverlauf
Patriarchat von Peja, erbaut im 13. Jahrhundert. Es besteht aus vier kleinen Kirchen mit wunderschönen Fresken. Die Kirche der Heiligen Apostel war die erste Kirche, die von Erzbischof Arsenije (gest. 1266) erbaut wurde. Aufgrund seiner architektonischen und kulturellen Werte ist es Teil der UNESCO.
Der Klosterkomplex von Decan gilt als die größte mittelalterliche Kirche auf dem Balkan. Es enthält die umfangreichsten, wunderschön erhaltenen Freskendekorationen und ist aufgrund seiner Bedeutung für die Erhaltung des Welterbes zu Recht Teil der UNESCO. Dieses Kloster wurde von König Stefan Urosh errichtet, der in der Kapelle bestattet wurde, und von seinem Sohn Stefan Dushan. Interessant ist die Tatsache, dass das Katholikon verblüffende Ähnlichkeiten mit einer römisch-katholischen Kirche aufweist, was dadurch erklärt wird, dass sein Architekt ein Franziskanermönch aus der montenegrinischen Stadt Kotor war, mit offensichtlichen Einflüssen aus Venedig und Ragusa.
Gjakova hat einen großen Basar, der als der älteste im Kosovo gilt, auch bekannt als Carshi, voller alter Häuser und Geschäfte, ein türkisches Badehaus oder Hamam und die Hadum-Aga-Moschee aus dem 16. Jahrhundert, die wir besuchen werden. Rückkehr nach Pristina Am selben Ort
