We went to Brain’s chocolate tour. He showed us on how the coco is grown and how it turns into chocolate. This is a small family farm. It’s very beautiful to see how family grow their products.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We're glad you got to visit Brian’s chocolate tour — it's always special to see firsthand how cacao is grown and transformed into chocolate. The family puts a lot of heart into what they do, and it's wonderful to hear you appreciated the beauty and care behind their work. It's a truly unique and authentic experience!
My girlfriend and I had a great time . Our tour guide Juan was very informative and went above and beyond when explaining the Cacoa plant . This place had a little bit of everything. Walking tour, tasting tour and history lesson. Very much recommended.
Hello dear Marvin thanks for this awesome review thats one of our main goals that all the visitors learn about history and culture of this side of the world with cacao and much more. Our guide Juan will be super motivated to see your mention! We wish you a safe travel back and please dont forget to recommend us to all your beloved ones. Warmest regards.

Juan gave an amazing tour. An honest and enjoyable account of Costa Rican history, culture and agriculture.
Our guide at the park Franc was very knowledgeable and was able to spot so many animals! The park is phenomenal. So beautiful!! The chocolate tour was very fun! Our guide taught us so much and we enjoyed fresh chocolate and coffee after learning all about the process.
I would like to recommend this chocolate tour. Juan is a very passionate guide. Very good English, and he explained all the plants and process very good. Halfway the tour I wasn’t feeling very well because of the heat or dehydration and he helped me get back on my feet in no time with a wet towel, chocolate, honey and lot’s of water. Very nice and professional!
Experience cacao & other Divine plants with awe, then enjoy tasting cacao bliss with coffee at end😍
WOW !! The chocolate tour was led by Gregory and assisted by Grace. They were fantastic. We were only in an area of maybe 1k sqmt or 11K sqft, and we learned about cacao (base for chocolate), coffee and sugar cane. And, we were able to taste all of those, with seemingly no end. In addition, we learned about several other plants that grow in Costa Rica, including the easy-to-grow lapiz plant. You should definitely ask for Gregory !! The Manuel Antonio Park Tour was led by Christian, another amazing tour guide. We were picked up at our hotel, picked up Gregory and then headed to the Park. We learned so much and had several great National Geographic-worthy photos and video with the aid of Christian's spotting scope. Among other things, we were able to take home video of a baby sloth clinging to her mom, moving around a bit and yawning the morning away; videos and photos of hummingbirds, monkeys and number other creatures. We didn't stay long at the beaches, but they alone are worth the entrance fee to the park, already included in the price of the tour.
