Kolumbien, Palancar & Cielo Cozumel Schnorcheltour

We picked this tour because it said it was going to multiple areas for snorkeling and they delivered. We did see star fish, fish, turtle and stingray. We also got pictures of us swimming with the different fish at each spot (for a sperate cost) but we have these memories to go to in the future. The guides where great and very attentive to the fact that my wife is not a swimmer but with the lifejacket she feels safe enough to go in the ocean reluctantly. They stayed beside her at all times making sure she was ok and tug her along. We have a nice memory thanks to their help and pictures. I would recommend them to anybody. We had our own gear but they do supply what you need.

We were a group of six visiting from our cruise and had an absolutely fantastic day with Mr Pork Chop, Baby Turtle and the whole crew at Cozumel Snorkel Centre. Unfortunately, the weather meant we couldn’t visit the turtle sanctuary as planned, but the team adapted the trip brilliantly and made sure we still had an amazing experience. We visited three different snorkelling sites, each offering great opportunities to see marine life and enjoy the beautiful waters around Cozumel. The fresh lunch provided was delicious, and the rum punch, music, and fun atmosphere really made the day extra special. The crew were friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about what they do, making everyone feel welcome and looked after. This was one of the highlights of our cruise and something all six of us thoroughly enjoyed. We would highly recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Cozumel!

Miguel, Mike, Leo, Fernanda in the intrepid boat took a great care of my family for our tour last week. We had a wonderful time and feel safe thru out the whole trip. Thank you so much for creating wonderful memories for my kids.

The overall experience was really awesome and the tour company (Cozumel Snorkel Center) did an excellent job start to finish. The crew; Captain Miguel, Darwin, Leo and Fernanda really made this a fun, memorable experience for all. We visited three reefs and saw a good amount of fish, turtles and starfish. The crew helped us get up close and took some incredible pictures. The last stop was my favorite standing on a sandbar with starfish swimming around our legs. The crew served a nice lunch, in the water, with ceviche, guacamole, chips and fresh fruit. Beer, water and tequila were plentiful. I also really enjoyed the boat ride to and from the meeting point and reefs. They run a very structured, safe and fun tour for sure!

We took the snorkeling tour with them at the Cozumel Turtle Sanctuary and the experience was very negative. From the beginning, they forced us to remove the scarps we were wearing, which later turned out to be a serious mistake. On the last stop of the excursion, on a sandbank where the water covers no more than half a meter and where they offer lunch inside the water, my husband, when getting off the boat, stepped on a sea conch. The wound was severe enough to require 10 stitches in the foot, which completely ruined the rest of our remaining vacation days. We considered this accident to be entirely avoidable. For one thing, there was no ladder to get off the boat, so you are forced to jump directly into the water. On the other hand, we were forbidden to wear scarp, which would have offered protection in an environment where there are clearly risks. After the incident, I sent an email explaining what happened and pointing out these shortcomings, but as of today I have not received any response, nor will I have one. Since at no time did they care about how my husband was doing. If you are thinking of hiring an excursion with them, keep in mind that they do not assume responsibility for incidents and that safety measures are clearly insufficient.

It was exactly what we thought it would be. The guides were amazing, very funny and showed us exactly where to be to see all the things we paid to see. We had a great time standing around in the shallow water, drinking margaritas as the stingrays swam by. 10/10 would recommend!

Darwin and Captain Mike on the intrepid made our trip amazing. We got see sea turtles, stingrays, starfish barracudas, and many different types of fish. Darwin was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I recommend to anyone trying to have a great time

This is a great tour all in all ... Great snorkeling and a lot of fun at the sandbar with delicious snacks and drinks . We had a ton of stingrays swimming around us and near the end when getting ready to board the boat a nurse shark swam around us which was the icing on the cake. We saw the coral reef with some fish, went to the turtle area and saw none and then to the starfish area were we saw lots. Disappointed they didn't hunt for some turtles and then let us off the boat once some were found. The food was great and fresh and the drinks were good....Beer, Margaritas and pops. The crew was a lot of fun ..the photos taken are amazing but super expensive to buy . The boat ride is a bit rough but it is a small boat that holds maybe 24 people. Not a Catamaran type boat. Also if you have any physical challenges this may be very hard as we jumped off the side of the boat and then climbed up a metal ladder to get back on . A great day and worth the trip for sure ..seeing the stingrays and shark made up for missing out on the turtles.

I can honestly say the boat trip to El Cielo in Cozumel was one of the absolute highlights of our entire trip. From start to finish, everything felt effortless, well-organized, and genuinely special. The boat itself was comfortable and spacious, with plenty of room to relax and take in the stunning views of that unreal turquoise water. El Cielo truly lives up to its name. The water is crystal clear and shallow, with starfish scattered across the sandy bottom—it almost doesn’t look real. Being able to stand in the warm sea, surrounded by such beauty, was unforgettable. We also stopped at a couple of snorkeling spots before arriving, and the marine life was incredible—colorful fish, coral, and even rays if you’re lucky. What really made the experience stand out was the atmosphere. It wasn’t rushed or overcrowded, just a perfect mix of relaxation, fun, and natural beauty. Drinks, fresh snacks, and great music added to the vibe without taking away from the peacefulness of the place. If you’re visiting Cozumel, this is an absolute must-do. It’s the kind of experience that stays with you long after you’ve left—pure paradise.
