Having read not good reviews about speedboat transfer to Phuket with all the other operators, I gave this a shot and I was impressed. A bit worried my pick up from hotel was not on time due to a delay and I was last pick up but we got picked up and left Saladan pier on 1pm. Boat was just over half full, plenty of space, calm crossing, well organised at pier got to Phuket bang on time via a brief stop at Ko Phi Phi to pick up and drop off passengers. Very good indeed.
Was fast friendly and they were fabulous loading and unloading luggage and you Clean and fast better than taking the ferry
Different boats are used on this route. The standard speedboats seen everywhere are pretty much the norm but on the day we went from Koh Lanta to Phuket the boat had a very awkward seating set up that had everyone crammed in together and I think it was 8 forced to sit on open stools with no backs. Got there quickly but less comfortably than what we came to expect
Dear Bill_A Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We apologize that the seating arrangement on your Koh Lanta to Phuket trip was not as comfortable as you expected. We do utilize different boats on this route depending on availability, and while the majority offer standard seating with backrests, some variations may have different configurations. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and we will certainly take it into consideration for future improvements. Thank you for choosing our service, and we hope your overall experience was enjoyable despite this inconvenience.
Pick up was on-time. Fast and efficient way to get from Koh Lanta to Phuket. Clean boat with life jackets for all. Clear instructions.

They confirmed the ticket and the pick-up at the hotel. The next day they did not show up. I called they send a driver to pick me up. The boat was gone. They book me on a different cheap boat with a delay and stop to a small Island and refused to provide me with any type of compensation for the lower standards. The safety is an issue on this boat. Not enough safety vests for everyone. Some customers had to sit on top of suitcases. Not an interesting business Regards
Dear Relax672650 Thanks for your review and comments. I need to get more details about the missed first ferry and about the other one you have moved to. Please share some photos and the name of the ferry/boat.
It was a bad experience. The staff was very rude, his driving was very bad and some of the family members also got hurt couple of times and the driver refused to slow down after complaints of the water being rougher than normal. I would any day suggest Bundhaya speed boat service rather than Satun Pakbara. Satun Pakbara was better is every possible way.
I think it's a little overpriced for Thailand but I couldn't find many alternatives. Otherwise fairly straightforward. Picked up at hotel on time. Dropped off at the pier. Got on the boat. Disembarked at the pier.
We purchased online two days before and were not told that it was no longer available until 4:36pm the next day (9 hrs before departure). We then had to change to a 8am express ferry but had to pay twice (once online and then at the first stop at Phi Phi). We never received refund for the first cancellation. This means in total we paid for three trips! Never again.
Dear Marijke, Thank you for your review and sorry to hear that you are not happy with our services. Actually, the boat transfer from Koh Lanta to Phuket is available only morning session in the low season (from May until Oct.). We have informed you very clearly that the speed boat cannot run due to bad weather and sea conditions on that day. Therefore, we offered to change to the bigger boat which more safety for you and all passengers. Safety comes first! We have informed you about issue refund very clearly as well. We have already sent a partial refund request to Viator and you will get it from them within 3 - 5 business days. Thank you for your understanding and sorry for the inconvenience. Kind regards, Rinda
We had a return from Phuket to ko Lanta on teh speedboat. Going out it was a smaller speedboat with us all sat around the edge. On the return a bigger speedboat with bus like seating all facing forward. Seats were bench like and quite tight when the boat was full bearing in mind generally westerners are a bit larger than the Thai people. Lifejacket for everyone which was good. Fast boats. Both ways we left on time and picked up and dropped off in Phi Phi. Both ways we arrived about 15 minutes late. Arriving safely however is more important. Sea was calm both trips so the ride was pleasant.
