Yassine was incredibly good. We cooked chicken tagine with fruit salad and tomatoe salad. Tasted way better than what I had earlier in my riad. He made me feel welcomed and took me through the whole process. I will definitely recommend. This was a 10/10 experince for me for sure !
This was a great cooking class! We each got to chop vegetables and assemble a tagine. We did get real hands-on experience. It was also nice being out in a real neighborhood where people actually live, rather than in the tourist-focused medina. Note to others who take a taxi from the medina: I couldn't talk our taxi driver down from 150 dirhams, which I knew was overpriced. Yassine said it should have been 50 dirhams. Talk your taxi driver down to 50 dirhams!
My daughter and I very much enjoyed cooking tagine with Yassine and his sister at their kitchen. The spice combination they use was new for us and gave the tagine a fantastic flavor. We also enjoyed spending time with Yassine and Maryam who were hospitable and fun to be with. I would recommend this as a way to better know the Moroccan culture and people while having fun cooking and eating a delicious meal.
Fantastic time with Yassine! We got to choose what to cook, he was very easy to learn from, very informative, fun, and open minded! Loved every second of it!
I had a great cooking experience with Yassine learning about Moroccan cuisine. We made lamb and chicken tangine. The environment was really great, serene and clean. I highly recommend.
A great experience hosted by Yassine, the recipes cooked were delicious, we look forward to putting what we learnt in practice cooking at home with the ingredients we bought! Thank you for sharing easy to use recipes!
Me and my daughter had a great experience with Yassine! Ofcourse we went for the cookingclass, but for is it was much more than that! Yassine is a great teacher in making the most delicious food, from passion of making great meals, with healthy ingredients. But the way he is as a person was the best ingrediënt of the day! a very kind, pure and honest person, with a “white heart”… thanks you bezzaf for sharing our day with us! 🤲🏻🍀💫 Bianca & Belize
We had an amazing experience taking a Moroccan cooking class in Marrakesh, where I learned how to prepare a traditional dish called Tangia from scratch. The whole experience was authentic, fun, and incredibly rewarding. The session started with an introduction to local ingredients, spices, and traditional cooking techniques unique to Marrakech. Yasir was friendly, patient, and very knowledgeable, making the process easy to follow even for beginners. I especially enjoyed learning how Tangia is cooked to develop its deep, rich flavors and tender texture. This experience was more than just a cooking class; it was a wonderful way to connect with Moroccan culture and traditions. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Marrakesh.
Fantastic food, it was the best meal we ate in Morrocco and Yassine was knowledgeable and friendly. We shopped at his local corner shop and butcher and used spices from his family’s farm. The class is held at his family home on the roof terrace so gives an insight into how Morrocan’s live. The only thing to note is it’s quite far out of central Marrakesh so our taxi was 150 d each way.
Yassine is a great guide. Very genuine guy with great energy. The food we made was very good (and a lot) as well.
