Öko-Abenteuer am Merritts Mill Pond

We had a great experience with our guide, he was very informative regarding the area and the springs. He was very patient with us and with the kids wanting to explore and swim. He went at our pace and we never felt rushed to get to the next area. Definitely would do this tour again! We had the option of paddleboards or kayak and opted for double seat kayak due to the kids. They did great and really enjoyed the experience. Snorkling gear was provided as well. After our experience we visited the Spring and enjoyed snowcones and boiled peanuts from the Concession stand. There is plenty of room to swim with docks, a slide and diving board. There is also a sandy beach, picnic tables, pavilions and benches.

If you are looking for an adventurous day trip, this is it! I took this trip with two of my friends, but I can't wait to go back with the family. Paige, our guide was the best! She was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and history of the area. Also she is a great photographer! If you are feeling brave, you will not regret going in the caves! Overall, it is a very beautiful place to see, and we will definitely be going back.

We had the best time together as a family at Blue Springs! We scheduled a tour and our guide was Paige, she was very knowledgeable, patient, kind, and good with our kids! We highly recommend it and will be back! It's worth every penny!

Paige was a phenomenal guide, fun and very knowledgeable. We explored several of the springs and some of the different caves on Merritts Mill Pond Eco Adventure. The most amazing part was swimming in Gator Hole cave and the sheer beauty of the springs themselves. I highly recommend booking a tour with Paige and experiencing the true hidden gems of Florida.

Firstly, if you are taking this tour, it's with Coldwater Outfitters out of Jackson Blue Springs, hopefully that helps you not go on the wild goose chase we did the morning of our tour to find our outfitter. Secondly, we had a fabulous time! Our guide Paige was absolutely wonderful, very encouraging, patient & knowledgeable! Do not let her youthfulness fool you! She's absolutely competent and wise! When we arrived we initially wanted to try the clear bottom kayaks, as experienced kayakers we thought it would be great to try something new. However, they are more like canoes and a bit harder to paddle for longer times so we opted for regular kayaks as we wanted to enjoy our time and not be exhausted from paddling so we could save our energy for exploring the caves. We are all happy to have made that decision! It was so enjoyable! Our party included our 5 yr old and 12 yr old and both were able to do every activity with ease. My best advice? Don't let your nervousness hold you back, experience every part of this tour because you will absolutely not regret it! I had never been diving ever and this was such an incredible way to dip my toes in, Paige was so encouraging and she eased my mind multiple times! You will walk away feeling empowered and proud of yourself! Overall this was a great experience and Paige gave us a lunch recommendation that was also STELLAR! Thank you Coldwater Outfitters! We will be back!

Me and my girlfriend went on this tour and had a great time. Our tour guides name was Josiah and he was really helped and fun to be around. We rode on a clear kayak and it was my first time on one and was a good experience. We visited many different springs and 100% would recommend this to everyone.
