Klettern in Barcelona

The climbing areas around Barcelona are breathtaking! From well secured “easy” routes to challenging walls – there is something for everyone. The wonderful landscape and Sam as a helpful guide make the experience perfect. Rock climbing was really my personal highlight of the stay and I would recommend it to everyone! Thank you Sam, for the great day. :)

Only good things to say! We went in a small group, Sam picked us up in Barcelona and took us north to a location with climbing routes for all levels. It was our first time climbing with a rope, and Sam patiently took the time to teach us how to use the equipment as well as how to approach the routes. In the end, we managed to climb routes that seemed to hard for us in the beginning. We could not have asked for a better introduction into the world of outdoor climbing! Many thanks, Sam!

I'm really happy with the trip and Crag rats. A relaxed and fun vibe and Sam was great. I had though, booked a trip to Monserrat in Spanish from Tripadvisor and it turned out something different. I'm not happy with how Tripadvisor charged me for a tour I did not get and that the communication was so poor. But again, happy with the climbing.

Such a great experience! The guide, Sam, was great and made sure everyone was climbing to their abilities and strengths. He made me feel very safe the whole time. It was a great group of people in my group and we all got along really well together. Definitely a fun experience and I would do it again

The best trip we booked in our month of Europe travel! Were avis indoor boulderers and this was our first outdoor climbing trip. Sam was the best guide we could ask for! Super friendly, explained everything thoroughly and patiently, and he's super encouraging. All the equipment is provided, just bring water (2L per person at least!) snacks, and lunch. The location Sam picked was great - about a 10 min approach (wear sneakers!), quite picturesque and a good variety of climbs for our group (5+-6a+). He taught us lead climbing and how to clean up a route, and he had so much general knowledge, gave us tips for other climbing places in the area. Would highly recommend, and would not hesitate to book again if were ever back in Spain.

Can't say enough good things about this trip! Our guide, Sam, is just awesome - friendly, knowledgable, fun, patient. He helps with everything so if you're beginner or advanced you feel comfortable. All equipment is included if you need it - harness, shoes, chalk etc. It was a whole day trip - meeting point is set a few days ahead and Sam drives you to the location in his vehicle. Pack snacks, water (2L per person at least!) and lunch (like a sandwich). Wear sneakers for the approach from the vehicle to the cliff face but consider also bringing sandals to wear between climbs. Literally can't say enough good things, recommend this experience to everyone, whether you're a climber or not. Would 100% go again next time we're here. Were have been traveling for 1 month and this is by far the best experience of our vacation.

Great experience, highly recommended. Sam was really helpful and a great guy to hang with. He really helps to demystify climbing, if you are researching online, I highly suggest you skip that and book a trip with Sam!

Routes were amazing, Sam was a great group leader. Had alot of fun and sent alot of routes. Definitely recommended.

Great day out. An awesome way to explore the outskirts of the city with some incredible views! excellent tour guide and spot on with the recommendations and the day out itself!
