We travel and use Viator frequently. Always have had a good experience so when we signed up for this experience we were excited. Lovely Italian guide. But, we asked for English speaking. We had to use Google translate the entire time. We were expecting a local food tour and what we received was walking around aimlessly to places we had already visited, an espresso and a closed church. No food. All for $200. We asked for a refund and it was denied. We felt very disheartened and disappointed- we do not recommend!
Dear Kelly, Thanks for taking the time to bring this to our attention. We always aim to deliver a great experience, and we are gutted when we don’t meet expectations. However, your host informed us that, while waiting for the shops and the stalls to open, she took you to see an ancient Church- for which she paid the entrance. Also, she had booked a table at a local wine shop, where you would have had wine and cold cuts offered by her, but you told her you already had other plans, so she had to cancel. I hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip in Italy, and would like to take the opportunity once again to say that we are truly sorry you did not enjoy the experience. Best wishes,
