This is a fantastic experience! My wife and I were the only people on the tour, and it was great. Zarko picked us up promptly, and it was a wonderful time of driving through Fruska Gora, seeing monasteries, and exploring Sremski Karlovci. Each monastery was unique, and our guide was very knowledgeable about both the history and the religion. His explanations of the frescos and artifacts helped us to better understand the history and significance of the region. He specialized our tour by asking if we wanted to do a wine tasting (in the itinerary) or focus more on history. We chose the history option, and do not regret it at all! Getting to see the inside of the Patriarch's home was very special. We 100% recommend taking this tour!
A very nice private tour, visiting some monasteries and a wine tasting. The guide was very knowledgeable. Nice surroundings and nature, and feels like a tour that can be personalised.
A professional and informative guide, a friendly tour leader, a flexible and well-planned itinerary, and stunning monastery scenery. I would definitely recommend this tour to friends.
Great tour with a great guide into the National Park and various monasteries. Definitely a lovely day out in peaceful countryside learning about very interesting history and culture.
Convenient way to explore the Fruska Gora monasteries as difficult to go otherwise by public buses. We also went to sremski village for wine and honey tasting and had a quick look at the town . The guide was very informative and friendly! We were comfortable throughout our trip. However, we would recommend more information from the organisation prior to the trip, including who + car plate number to expect on pick up.
The monasteries and the landscape were impressive and beautiful. But the tour guide had very little to say. That was disappointing. He was more of a driver than a tour guide.
Very nice experience in the beautiful serbian hilly countryside with amazingly beautiful full of history monasteries. Zarko is a very nice, accomodating and knowledgebale guide. We also met very hospitable nuns in some monasteries and were gifted with food and souvenirs. Highly recommended 5 star tour.
Wonderful day trip from Novi Sad to Fruska Gora and Sremski Karlovci. The tour is not too rushed and you get to see 3 different monasteries. The wine tasting in Srmski Karlovci was very nice, and it was interesting to try some different types of Serbian wines. Returned to Novi Sad early enough in the afternoon to have a late lunch and enjoy the afternoon/evening without being too tired. Guide was informative and gave great information.
Great way to understand local history, take in the sights of fruska gora and taste some local wines. Guide was friendly and knowledgeable, going out of his way to provide recommendations.
We cannot say enough wonderful things about this experience! Blanketed in snow the national park was stunning to drive through and the monasteries we visited were exquisite in each of their unique beauty. The winery we stopped at offered a delightful tasting of wines and honey (yes, honey!). Our tour guide, Žarko, was beyond knowledgeable about the monasteries, wine, Serbian history and was deeply passionate about sharing his beautiful culture with us. It was like spending the morning/early afternoon with a good friend! We would highly recommend this experience!
