Wir können nach Abisko, dem borealen Wald von Kiruna oder wo auch immer wir einen klaren Himmel finden, fahren, um Aurora Borealis zu sehen. Lichter der Wikinger haben eine wirklich hohe Erfolgsquote bei der Suche nach klarem Himmel, was eines der wichtigsten Kriterien ist, um das Nordlicht zu sehen. Unser Konzept ist dafür bekannt, bei Bedarf auch lange Strecken zu fahren! Wohin wir während der Tour auch gehen, wir werden Ihnen viele Geschichten über das Nordlicht und die Wikinger erzählen. Nachdem wir einen klaren Himmel gefunden haben, bewundern wir das Nordlicht und machen Fotos, die wir Ihnen innerhalb von 3 Tagen nach der Tour zusenden. Wenn Sie Ihre eigene Kamera mitbringen, helfen wir Ihnen beim Einrichten, um die besten Aufnahmen zu machen. Während die Nordlichter am Himmel tanzen, servieren wir heiße Getränke und machen ein Lagerfeuer, damit Sie sich aufwärmen können. Nach der Nordlichttour fahren wir Sie zurück nach Kiruna.

Wenn das Wetter und die Bedingungen in Abisko gut sind, um Polarlichter zu sehen, wird Ihr Reiseleiter Sie dorthin fahren
Um unseren Abholservice so reibungslos wie möglich zu gestalten, bitten wir alle unsere Gäste, außerhalb des Hotels zur vorgesehenen Abholzeit auf uns zu warten, nicht innerhalb der Rezeption. Wir werden Sie nicht vorher kontaktieren können und wir werden nicht in der Lage sein, innerhalb der Rezeption zu überprüfen. Wir bieten eine Wartezeit von 5 Minuten. Wenn wir Sie jedoch nicht erreichen können, müssen wir abreisen, um die Abholzeiten der anderen Gäste zu respektieren. Gäste des Best Western Arctic Eden werden vor dem Arctic Thai abgeholt, einem Restaurant direkt vor dem Hotel, da es nicht möglich ist, mit dem Auto zum Hotel zu gelangen. Gäste des Elite Frost Hotel und Scandic werden vom Tourismusbüro Kiruna (Malmvägen 9B) abgeholt – nur 200m zu Fuß, da es nicht möglich ist, mit dem Auto zum Hotel zu gelangen. Leider ist ein Abhol-/ Bringservice bei Airbnb, Camp Alta, Aurora Camp Kurravaara oder Rentier Lodge nicht verfügbar. Gerne können Sie uns an einem unserer ausgewiesenen Abholpunkte treffen.

Great Northern Lights tour! The guides were very friendly and really made an effort to find clear skies for us. We got to see the Northern Lights and enjoyed some tea and cookies along the way. Everything was well organized and we had a really nice experience. Highly recommended!
I joined the Northern Lights tour with Lights of Vikings for two evenings and had a great experience. The guides made a real effort to find the best possible sky conditions, while also taking great care of every guest. They were very friendly and made the whole tour feel relaxed and comfortable. Tea, cookies, a campfire, and interesting information about the Northern Lights and the region made the experience even better.
You can tell that they are the experts. They chased clear skies wherever they were, with no distance limits, from Kiruna to Abisko, and even took us near the Norwegian border. My favorite moments were around the campfire, with hot drinks while Onur, Eric and Sophia told stories and answered every question we had about the lights. Sophia doubled as our dedicated photographer the whole trip, which took a lot of pressure off the group. They were patient and well-organized, and they kept an eye on everyone the entire time. Coming all the way from San Francisco, I'm so glad we chose this tour for our three nights, and I will absolutely recommend it to others.
Coming from Manila, I am not used to cold weather, and I had no idea what to expect. The guides made it easy. The snowsuits, campfire, hot drinks and snacks kept us comfortable for almost six hours outside. Onur, Eric and Sophia explained the science behind the Northern Lights in a way that finally made sense to me: darkness, clear skies, and why patience matters. Sophia handled all the photography as our dedicated photographer, so we got great shots without anyone in the group having to worry about their own camera. They never rushed us and always made sure no one was left standing alone in the dark. It was a bucket-list experience done right, and I'll be recommending it to everyone I know.
I flew in from Houston for this, and the photography alone made the tour worth it. Sophia was our dedicated photographer for all three nights, and the professional photos she took arrived within a few days, better than anything we could have gotten ourselves. Every trip I have taken has had good guides, but Onur, Eric and Sophia were exceptional. They were knowledgeable, funny and genuinely invested in our group having a good night. They told us upfront that aurora hunting depends on nature, and that honesty made every moment we did get feel special. Onur, Eric and Sophia made the experience one of a kind. They picked us up on time at Camp Ripan every night and explained the forecast honestly, setting realistic expectations about what the aurora looks like to the eye versus the camera. Sophia was our dedicated photographer for the tour, and having her there just for that meant we could actually enjoy the moment instead of fumbling with settings ourselves. Every night felt carefully planned, including the drive out to Abisko on our last night. We will definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kiruna.

Super experience, super friendly, they do everything to be able to see the northern lights, the photos are incredible, the auroras beautiful, my guides Sofi and Eric super friendly, with knowledge of the auroras. I got a tour in Spanish, everything was super good, I highly recommend them.
Great guides and photographer, learned a lot of the auroras and its activity. We appreciated the fire to keep us warm through the night. Overall, really nice experience! It was a small group and great pictures afterwards :)
