The ending at Hyde Abbey was a fitting climax to an imaginative, professionally presented and cleverly narrated walking tour. Mr Walsh has an attractive and idiosyncratic Southern Irish/ Canadian accent which darkly flavours the eerie mood of the nighttime walk. At the end of the 90 minutes you will not only have explored King Alfred’s reign, visited the sites of pretty much‘every’ancient prison in Westminster as well as learnt everything you might want to know about the religious persecution of Roman Catholics after the Reformation. An excellent tour which it’s real value for money.

One of the best parts of the tour was the host. Very informative, amusing, and he didn't take himself too seriously. The amount of things I learnt was great, I class myself as a bit of a history buff, but I bow to his level of knowledge! He really brought the history and paranormal sides of this beautiful city to life. Would highly recommend this tour
