Wonderful experience! For our anniversary, I wanted portraits of my family in a professional photo studio. You can pick your kimono and hair pieces, plus they style your hair and have lipstick and blush available if needed. You can pay extra to have all the copies on a USB too. Would definitely recommend!

The staff couldn't have been more friendly. We enjoyed the photo session. I would recommend anyone taking a trip to Tokyo to sign up for this package and experience Japanese culture first hand. The pictures turned out fantastic.

My family and I had a wonderful time. It was so much fun and we laughed so much. I have to say it was a once in a lifetime experience! And the three beautiful ladies who ran the photo shoot were so kind, welcoming, and professional. We learned a lot about the history behind the kimono, and the ladies even took the time to speak to my son in Japanese, as he is learning the language. We had a blast and a really good time. I would definitely recommend this activity.

GO HERE!! This is a must for Japan and such an amazing experience. My husband and I did the Couples Kimono photo shot for our 9 year wedding anniversary. We had the best time and the photographer and stylist were so lovely and accommodating. True professionals and so talented! It took only 1.5-2 hours and we walked away with over 70 photos. Highly recommend!!! There is a reason they have so many five star reviews. Can’t say enough positive things!

I booked the, ‘Kimono Photo Shooting Family and Group Plan in Tokyo’ for myself and my 22 year old daughter. I highly recommend this activity. It was not only fun and informative but also a good value. We were very excited to learn about kimono and to try them on properly in the studio. I did not want to rent a kimono to walk around outside because both my daughter and myself are disaster prone. If there is a coffee to spill or a mud puddle we will find it so this was the perfect plan for us. We were thankful for the detailed directions to the studio and we arrived on time to be warmly greeted by the team. We were able to choose from a lovely selection of kimonos. Next the ladies fixed our hair and suggested makeup touch ups while we chatted. Next was the photo shoot. My daughter loved being a ‘model’ and having her picture taken. I am not used to having my picture taken but I did enjoy myself. While the photos were checked on the computer we were offered a lovely matcha tea and a sweet. We chose two photos to print on 5x7 photo paper included in the activity price. We also decided to purchase all the photo data for 55.00 JPY ($37.00 US) .The data was loaded onto a USB we brought from home. This was a great value and made a wonderful souvenir for my family. Highly recommend.

Kimono Photo Studio made our trip so special! Not only was it an amazing experience, but the pictures came out so well and something we will keep to remember our trip forever! The cost included the pictures, but also our hair styling, which came out beautifully! This was such a great deal, the whole experience would’ve cost so much more in the US. The staff was also so friendly and taught us so much about the history of kimonos and how and why they are worn today. If you’re thinking about doing this, definitely just do it!

We had the best experience here and highly recommend! The employees were so fun and engaging and made us feel really comfortable. They taught us a lot about the culture in Japan and it was one of the best parts of our trip! We loved how the pictures turned out! I think this would be such a great experience for friends or family! I also think the experience was an amazing deal for the price- a steal!
