Das Muckross House befindet sich inmitten eines dicht bewaldeten Gebiets des 10.000 Hektar großen Muckross Demesne. Das Herrenhaus wurde 1843 erbaut und von William Burns entworfen. Das Grundstück des Hauses besteht aus gut angelegten Blumengärten, Steingärten, Büschen und Rasenflächen, die sich über Grasland, stattliche Kiefernwälder und Seeufer erstrecken. Die traditionellen Bauernhöfe versetzen Sie in eine Zeit in Irland, in der das Familienleben viel einfacher war.
Ross Castle befindet sich am Ostufer des Lough Lein und nimmt dort eine beherrschende Stellung ein. Es handelt sich um eine sehr alte Burg, die vermutlich im 15. Jahrhundert erbaut wurde. Eine Wendeltreppe aus Stein führt nach oben, von wo aus ein herrliches Panorama zu sehen ist.
Die St. Mary's Cathedral wurde von A. W. N. Pugin (1812-1852) entworfen. Der Grundstein wurde im Jahr 1842 gelegt, und die Arbeiten am Gebäude begannen und setzten sich während der Hungersnot fort. Bis 1853 waren viele Obdachlose in den fertig gestellten Kirchenschiffen untergebracht, und nach dem "Griffiths Valuation Act", der in diesem Jahr in Kraft trat, wurde die Kirche als Hilfsarbeitshaus eingestuft.
Aghadoe, bietet einen wunderschönen Blick auf die Seen und Berge. Hier sind die Ruinen der alten Kirche zu sehen, die Spuren von zwei Epochen aufweist, von denen allgemein angenommen wird, dass sie aus dem siebten und zwölften Jahrhundert stammen.
Ladies View erhielt seinen Namen 1861 beim Besuch von Queen Victoria in Irland. Ladies View bietet einen herrlichen Blick auf die Täler, Seen und Hügel, darunter das Black Valley, den Upper und Middle Lakes, McGillicuddy Reeks und den Gap of Dunloe. Der Torc-Wasserfall ist etwa 100 Fuß vom Klippenrand bis zum Flussbett entfernt und wird von vielen mit erstaunlicher Ehrfurcht beobachtet. Der Berg ist reich an Bäumen, Sträuchern und Vegetation und beherbergt den berühmten Torc-Wasserfall, der durch die schnelle Biegung westlich des Torc-Flusses verursacht wurde und Felsbrocken, die wieder zu ihrer normalen Flussformation zurückkehren und sich zum Muckross-See hinunter schlängeln.
Der Killarney National Park war der erste Nationalpark in Irland, der 1932 durch eine Spende von Muckross Estate an den irischen Freistaat geschaffen wurde. Der Park umfasst mehr als 102,89 km² unterschiedlicher Ökologie, einschließlich der Seen von Killarney, Eichen und Eibenwäldern von internationaler Bedeutung und Berggipfel. Es hat die einzige Rothirschherde auf dem irischen Festland und die größte in Irland verbliebene Waldfläche. Der Park wurde 1981 zum UNESCO-Biosphärenreservat erklärt.

Our driver/guide Tony was great. He adjusted our itinerary to ensure we were able to make the most of our day despite afternoon showers. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and experiences exploring all the National park sites and were able to create amazing memories as well as capture pictures to commemorate our time.
Mr. William was an excellent representative of Kerry Taxi Tours. The vehicle was clean and comfortable. We had the best time and plan to come back with more relatives. I would highly recommend this company and this tour.
Billy was our tour guide and he knocked it out of the park! We didn't have cooperating weather in the morning and he adjusted the tour to ensure we had a great experience regardless. We still saw the sites listed which we appreciated! He also came prepared with extra water, large umbrellas, binoculars, and great knowledge! He also stopped at multiple sites to get breathtaking sites along the way we wouldn't have seen without his expertise. He even noticed a sheep dog demonstration happening close by and he stopped so we could see it which was fantastic! He really put thought and effort in this tour so we could have a wonderful experience! Highly recommend!!

this tour was for my in-laws. the tour operator Bill was amazing, there was a last minute change to the pick up site that he was able to accommodate as well as providing valuable insight to the locations listed. We were never picked up waited more than 1 hour and was told the tour was overbooked we called a Taxi and made our own day calling a taxi to go to each destination. The service rep I spoke with was very rude and had no concern of our situation.
Hi, In response to your review there are a number of false claims made , to deal with your last claim first I spoke with you and was not rude, in fact you forgot to mention that I advised you as to the steps you needed to take to receive a full refund which I can see from booking agent account you did receive a full refund , interesting that you should omit this fact. The morning I spoke to you I pointed out to you that we had never accepted you booking knowing that we were fully booked for that week, this information was sent to your booking agent immediately on receipt of your form, this information was also sent to you directly by text and voice mail to the telephone number you provided on your form ,it was also sent to you by email through the facility provided on the booking agent web site, I have once again read this email which stated we were not accepting this booking "due to circumstances beyond our control" at no time mentioning the word "overbooked "used in fact the tour you booked was a private tour as are all our tours, we do not cater for mixed group tours making it impossible to overbook a tour I am sorry if you had a poor experience but can state beyond and doubt that it was not of our making and I am happy in the knowledge that we provide a first class private tour service. Finally Theresa to sum up I feel your confusion lies between you and your email/phone and booking agent as we do not pick up people for tours we do not have confirmed bookings for. Kerry Taxi Tours.

I'm so glad that we did a tour rather than trying to navigate the roads ourselves. Brian was a fantastic tour guide and filled us in on so much great history that we would not have known otherwise. Some of the roads are pretty narrow and windy as well, so having someone else drive meant that we could all enjoy the scenery.
