Entfliehen Sie dem Trubel Bangkoks und reisen Sie in eines der wertvollsten Naturwunder Thailands: Khao Yai Nationalpark, der älteste Nationalpark des Landes. Drei Autostunden von der Hauptstadt entfernt erstreckt sich dieses riesige, zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe gehörende Heiligtum über 2.000 Quadratkilometer üppiger Berge, dichtem Dschungel und dramatischen Wasserfällen. Khao Yai ist ein Paradies für Naturliebhaber und einer der besten Orte in Thailand, um Wildtieren in ihrem natürlichen Lebensraum zu begegnen. Wenn Sie einem der Wanderwege des Parks folgen, halten Sie die Augen offen für Hornschnabel, Gibbons und mit etwas Glück Schlangen und sogar wilde Elefanten. Die Landschaften hier sind atemberaubend, von nebligen Bergblicken bis hin zu pulsierenden Wäldern, die mit Vogelrufen widerhallen. Bitte beachten Sie: Khao Yai ist ein Nationalpark, kein Zoo. Wildtierbeobachtungen können nie garantiert werden, da die Tiere frei in der dichten Vegetation des Parks wandern. Aber genau das macht Khao Yai so besonders: Es ist roh, real und unberechenbar. Die Gruppengröße ist auf maximal 10 Teilnehmer begrenzt.

Khao Yai mit seiner reichen Flora und Fauna ist das perfekte Reiseziel für Naturliebhaber. Im Park leben Elefanten, Tiger, Affen, Bären, Hirsche, Eichhörnchen und über 400 Vogelarten. Sie können auch Pythons, Spinnen, Nagetiere und Insekten begegnen, daher ist langärmelige Kleidung empfehlenswert. Wir machen eine 3 bis 4 km lange Wanderung durch den Wald und genießen die malerische Berglandschaft und den dichten Dschungel. Unterwegs zeigt Ihr Fortgeschrittener interessante Pflanzen, Tierspuren und Geräusche des Waldes. Khao Yai ist einer der besten Orte in Thailand, um wilde asiatische Elefanten zu beobachten, obwohl Sichtungen nie garantiert werden können. Der Trail ist für Personen mit normaler Fitness geeignet, obwohl wir verstehen, dass körperliche Anstrengung von Person zu Person variiert. Die Dauer beinhaltet die Reisezeit von und nach Bangkok.
Es gibt mehrere Wasserfälle im gesamten Nationalpark, die eine unglaubliche Landschaft und Fotomöglichkeiten bieten. Der bekannteste Wasserfall im Khao Yai Nationalpark ist Haew Suwat. Es ist berühmt als Drehort für Leonardo DiCaprios Wasserfalltauchgang im Film „The Beach“ im Jahr 2000.
Haew Narok ist der höchste Wasserfall im Khao Yai Nationalpark und die Hauptattraktion des Parks. Er stürzt über drei Stufen herab, wobei die letzte Stufe 80 Meter unter ihm in ein tiefes Becken stürzt. Allerdings ist nur die erste Stufe für die Öffentlichkeit zugänglich, da die anderen Stufen steil und gefährlich sind. Es gibt einen Aussichtspunkt am Hang, von dem aus Sie den Wasserfall gut sehen und fotografieren können. Besonders auf dem Höhepunkt der Regenzeit ist der Haew Narok-Wasserfall ein wirklich atemberaubender Anblick.

- WICHTIG : Es gibt viele wilde Tiere im Nationalpark, aber Sie sollten immer daran denken, dass Sie einen riesigen Nationalpark besuchen, nicht einen Zoo, der Tiere in Gefangenschaft betrachtet. Die Tiere können sich frei bewegen, wo sie wollen, und bei der dichten Vegetation ist es nicht immer einfach, sie zu finden.
- Der Wanderweg, dem wir folgen, ist etwa 3 bis 4 Kilometer lang. Es ist für jeden mit einem normalen Fitnessniveau geeignet, aber wir verstehen, dass körperliche Anstrengung von jedem Einzelnen anders erlebt wird.
- Die Reisezeit zwischen Bangkok und Khao Yai beträgt je nach Verkehrslage etwa 3 Stunden pro Strecke.
- Bangkoks Verkehr ist oft stark überlastet, daher bitten wir alle Gäste, pünktlich anzukommen. Da unsere Touren auf Gruppenbasis ablaufen, können wir maximal 10 Minuten nach der geplanten Besprechungszeit warten. Nach Ablauf dieser Schonfrist beginnt der Fortgeschrittener die Tour. Sollten Sie es nicht rechtzeitig schaffen, teilen Sie uns dies bitte vor Tourbeginn mit. Wenn möglich, werden wir unser Bestes tun, um Sie für den nächsten verfügbaren Tag zu verschieben, obwohl eine Umbuchungsgebühr von THB 500 pro Person anfällt. Bei verspäteter Ankunft wird keine Rückerstattung geleistet.
- Stornierungen, die mindestens 24 Stunden vor Tourbeginn erfolgen, sind für eine vollständige Rückerstattung berechtigt. Bei Stornierungen, die weniger als 24 Stunden im Voraus erfolgen, oder bei Nichterscheinen wird keine Rückerstattung ausgestellt. Stornierungen aufgrund des Wetters sind nicht erstattungsfähig.
- Die genaue Abfahrtszeit vom Treffpunkt erhalten Sie einen Tag vor der Tour per privater Nachricht auf der Buchungsplattform. Bitte überprüfen Sie Ihre E-Mail (einschließlich Ihres Junk/Spam-Ordners) sorgfältig am Tag vor Ihrer Tour, um Verzögerungen oder verpasste Abfahrten zu vermeiden.
- Abhängig von der Teilnehmerzahl erfolgt die Abfahrt vom Treffpunkt zwischen 7:30 und 8:00 Uhr.

I escaped from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok and joined a tour of Khao Yai National Park. Both the guide and the driver found as many wildlife as possible and guided us to take pictures. We saw deer, monkeys, tarantulas, snakes and so many other animals! There are mountain buildings, so we recommend that you dress for trekking. I hope you have long pants and a gator. Gators can be purchased locally and rented from guides.

A very long day, but worth it to get out of the city and see Khao Yai while in Bangkok for a few days after a work trip. Chang and the driver Pach were both friendly and did a great job. Chang knows a lot about the park and sights on the long drive there. Saw monkeys and the roaring waterfalls during the rainy season.
