Das Khantoke Dinner and Cultural Show im Old Chiang Mai Cultural Center basiert auf der traditionellen thailändischen Dinner- und Tanzshow. Beim Khantoke-Dinner sitzen die Gäste auf Bambusmatten auf dem Boden und bekommen eine Auswahl an nordthailändischen Gerichten serviert. Während Sie sitzen und essen, werden auf der Bühne verschiedene traditionelle thailändische Tänze gezeigt, darunter Schwerttanz und eine beliebte Trommelaufführung. Während der gesamten Show wird Ihr Essen aufgefüllt und es besteht auch die Möglichkeit, Bier, alkoholfreie Getränke oder Whisky zu bestellen. Im Hauptspeisebereich des Gebäudes gibt es einige Stände, an denen Kunsthandwerk der Bergstämme verkauft wird, sowie eine Ausstellung traditioneller thailändischer Häuser. • Probieren Sie ein hausgemachtes Khantoke-Abendessen mit kleinen Gerichten wie Curry, gehacktem Schweinefleisch und gebratenem Kürbis. • Erleben Sie altehrwürdige Tanz- und Musikaufführungen lokaler Bergstämme. • Verbringen Sie einen kulturellen Abend und erleben Sie eine Tradition, die ihren Ursprung in Chiang Mai hat

I did not see when bought tickets, a choice between western seating and Lanna (sitting on floor), and on the floor you had to balance your plate on your lap, And I was wearing a dress. We are 65/73 years old, and had to ask to move to a table, there should be more clear info on this when you order the tickets! Some of the food was very good, and some not. Example, we have had "sticky rice" numerous times here in thailand, and at this dinner thickness was like glue, no taste, and difficult to eat. Numerous dances in the show, but mostly so similiar it got boring.

The show was very good and provided cultural dances and music. We sat on the floor with pillows and not offered a choice of seats. Food was good but observed others eating different food. We were not offered a choice. Service was very good. Enjoyed the show and recommend.
