The crew was nice and funny but the captain wasn’t very successful in “finding” fish. If you want to catch fish, charter a private boat. The inside was air conditioned so that was a plus.

We had a great trip with Fish Monster Key West! Captain Dan and Hunter were fantastic guides who really knew how to put us on the fish. We ended up catching plenty of Mahi-Mahi and some Rosie Grouper. To top off an already excellent day, they recommended the absolute best local spot to take our catch and have it cooked up fresh for dinner. Highly recommend this crew if you're looking for a great day on the water in Key West—we'll definitely be back!

We had fun! Bring hat or visor, the sun is brutal. We bought one at the gift shop prior to boarding. Snack and drinks were available for purchase. Our family caught an amberjack!! Went to a restaurant and did the hook and cook service- overall amazing

My husband and son had the best time during their half day charter. The crew was knowledgeable, courteous, engaging and helpful. I couldn’t have asked for a better memory making experience than the one they had!

Super fun day of fishing. Captain Alex and Twiggy were great and super helpful. Twiggy especially, he also seemed really patient and awesome with the kids near us. I would say this isn’t necessarily for beginners. Some general knowledge of fishing and how to handle a rod was helpful. They knew where to take you for fish and really did want people to catch and have a good experience. If you aren’t close enough to drive your fish home or don’t want to freeze and fly it, you can take your filets to a restaurant on the pier and they’ll cook it for you no problem, which was awesome (you can take it to really any of them but we went to Alonzo’s). Dude who filleted our fish was super nice and helpful with that part of it, we took about 6ish filets over and that was perfect for two people. Tip for tipping- each individual crew member had their own till- we were planning to put a large bill in one bucket at the end but it seemed to work a little different; I’d recommend bringing slightly smaller $5-20s. Overall definitely recommend, really fun experience.

Had a wonderful time on this boat. Great for all ages. We were a party of 6 (including 2 kids) and everyone had a blast. We caught a ton of fish and made some wonderful memories. The staff was amazing - friendly, funny, and helpful!

We had a fantastic time with Fish Monster Fishing Charters in Key West. The boat was very comfortable, with a cool, shaded seating area that made the trip relaxing even during the warmer parts of the day. The restroom facilities were clean which was a huge plus. The fishing was excellent, and our group caught a great variety of fish, including triggerfish, grouper, and yellowtail snapper. The crew was friendly, knowledgeable, and worked hard to help everyone have a successful day on the water. Overall, it was a fun, relaxing, and well-organized half-day fishing trip. We would definitely recommend Fish Monster Fishing Charters to anyone looking for a great fishing experience in Key West!

What a half days fishing !! My son and I went on the trip having never held a rod before. It makes no difference - the crew were superb and not just for effect. Captain ‘Alex’ made you feel safe but very comfortable. Dave and Chase were on hand to assist with the fishing. We caught yellow tails and a small shark. There were barracuda about also. Toilets on boat and cool drinks - with air conditioning deck. For a family or couples with no experience I would strongly recommend.
