Kayaking Uros Island (halber Tag)

Beschreibung

Kayaks had spray skirts so we didn’t get wet. Brought my phone in the kayak in a waterproof bag. They also have a follow boat to carry any items you want like your water of extra jacket. Perfect way to experience the floating islands of Uros! Water was calm. It was peaceful kayaking to Uros. Once there, we had a half an hour on our own to explore before meeting our guide Ronald at a specific island where we disembarked and learned from him and the family that lived there. Fascinating and truly lovely people. It didn’t feel overly touristy or like we were invading their space. Kayaking in seemed respectful of the peace and quiet of this amazing community! I highly recommend this half day trip it was a highlight of our time in Peru!
Great tour and a little away from all the tourists. Super guide, offered a good mix between informing and independently exploring.
Ronald was a great kayak guide. We got free pick up/drop off and stayed pretty much entirely dry. Wear suncream even if it's overcast!!!
The best way to experience the floating islands. Ronald was super knowledgable, professional and friendly. We had one of the islands all to ourselves to talk to the local people, and see what life is like without the swarms of people on the tourist boats.
On April 25, 2024 we booked a family kayak tour to Uros Islands, the family experience was very beautiful, we could see different birds of the lake and get in touch with nature and very relaxing, and we arrived on an island and Roci He welcomed us very happily on his island, and I thank Carlos our guide for making this experience very pleasant, highly recommended
We went 12 km by kayak on the lake, with a great guide who explained the history of Titicaca and the customs of the ancient civilizations, he had a lot of knowledge and was really very kind, it was a very pleasant experience, thank you very much!! recommended
wow!!!! Lake Titicaca has calm waters ideal for kayaking. The view is impressive. We arrived at the Uros Floating Island, enjoyed a demonstration of how the Uros were built and why they chose to live here. Then they showed us their house how they live and offered us to dress in traditional costumes like them, it was beautiful and well organized, this kayak adventure tour is highly recommended.
We avoided a tourist boat tour and decided on a kayak tour to the Uros Islands and our experience was excellent and our guide Ronny was very knowledgeable about the area and the Aymara Culture, without a doubt it is the best experience in PERU, 100000000 % recommended
Our kayaking experience was wonderful, pick up on time. We visited a very charming family and they explained us their daily life and we learned to weave their handicrafts, recommended by the tour guide Carlos and the company TITICACA WORLDWIDE that organized us.
Let's start with the process. We found titicaca worldwide as we were looking for the best way to experience Lake Titicaca. We contacted Carlos and, with several messages back and forth, booked our trip. Once in Peru and getting the feel for the high altitude (the Lake is about 12,000 feet up), we contacted him again to modify our trip. Edison continued to be friendly and helpful; this was our trip and we could modify it any way possible. Our tour was excellent. If you can possibly do a KAYAK trip with Carlos to the Floating Islands, don't miss the chance! The water is perfectly smooth thru the reeds and into the islands; you visit a family and get as genuine an experience as possible. The equipment is excellent and Carlos is a fine and patient guide. highly recommend this experience
