Reiseverlauf
Nach dem Frühstück fahren wir um 8:00 Uhr nach Ciwidey. Wir machen einen Zwischenstopp, um das Panorama der Landschaft zu genießen. Wir machen einen kleinen Spaziergang zum Teras-Reisfeld, zum örtlichen Dorf und zur alten Eisenbahnbrücke und machen eine Kaffeepause in der Luwak-Kaffeefabrik, einer der teuersten Kaffeeverarbeitungsbetriebe (optional, je nach begrenzter Zeit). Anschließend fahren wir weiter zum weißen Krater.
In Kawah Putih unternehmen wir mit Ihnen zunächst eine Wanderung zum Aussichtspunkt durch den Patuha-Wald und erkunden die Umgebung, darunter Sunan Ibu, die Patuatea-Plantage und das Dorf der Teearbeiter. Anschließend besuchen wir den näheren Kawah Putih-See (7,10° S 107,24° O), einen der beiden Krater, die den Mount Patuha bilden, einen andesitischen Schichtvulkan (einen „zusammengesetzten“ Vulkan). [Mount Patuha ist einer der zahlreichen Vulkane auf Java. Rückfahrt zum Parkplatz, Mittagspause.
Nach dem Mittagessen geht die Fahrt weiter nach Rancabali, wir halten an der Rancabali-Teeplantage, hier machen wir einen kleinen Spaziergang durch die Plantage, genießen das wunderschöne Panorama der Umgebung, machen schöne Fotos und wandern dann weiter zum Renganis-Krater
Rengganis Krater ist einer der interessantesten Krater südlich von Bandung. Dieses enge Flusstal dampft und sprudelt mit vulkanischer Aktivität und innerhalb des natürlichen Flusses haben Einheimische künstliche Teiche in der Nähe von Thermalquellen unterschiedlicher Temperatur angelegt, einige mit Bambusrohren für eine heiße „Dusche“. Der neueste und größte dieser Pools (und auch der zugänglichste) ist herzförmig, was Pools aus warmem Schlamm auch die Möglichkeit für ein Schlammbad bieten, angepriesen, um medizinische Vorteile für Ihre Haut zu haben. Hinweis : für neue Objekte wie : Hängebrücke usw., ist optionales Programm nicht enthalten dieses Progranme (Ticket nicht inbegriffen)

The tour and guide were top! We really went off the beaten track a little bit. Umien is a top guide and showed us the coolest places. Definitely recommended!
We, I and my 11-years-old son, enjoyed this tour very much. The scenery of Kawah Putih and the tea plantation and the experience of natural hot springs were excellent. Umien was a knowledgable and friendly guide. I would like to recommend his tour to other people visiting Bandung and around.
We booked a tour through Umien Moritz from Bandung, and had a fantastic day! A big thank you to our guide Bang and our driver for this unforgettable experience! As we drove out of Bandung, the tour immediately started with some background about Bandung, and it became a fun dialogue of facts and questions we were allowed to ask. Then we ended up on our first stop in Ciwidey. Here we visited local businesses/families for a tour of a bamboo factory, rice processing, and a cafe where the famous ‘Luwak’ coffee is served. Afterwards the journey continued towards Kawah Putih (White Crater). A nice walk to the highest point (2,343m) with plenty of photo opportunities and pleasant explanations along the way. On the way down we went to a tea plantation with sublime visibility! After the visit to the tea plantation we could go to the lake of the White Crater, where you could see the colors up close. Then it was time for lunch break and lunch. We had a very nice and budget friendly meal! Good to get your strength up. After lunch we took our swimwear towards Kawah Rengganis (crater including hot spring). First we were given a tour explaining the mysterious background of this place. After this we got the chance to do a mud treatment, and get into the hot springs. After this experience, it was soon late afternoon, and it was time for the way back to Bandung. We had a really wonderful experience thanks to Bang and fellow guide. We learned a lot about the area, and were able to do a lot of unique activities in one day. We can highly recommend this tour!
Great tour of the beautiful surroundings of Bandung. From the tea fields and coffee plantations to the active volcanic crater (somewhat eerie). We visited the natural hit springs for a mudbath and soak in a hot natural pool surrounded by the jungle. Our guide was very nice, knowledgeable and attentive. He knew how to avoid the crowds even on a busy Sunday. The driver was very safe. The bus was comfortable. Thank you for a beautiful day!
We had a very nice day! First visit to the krater with a small hike going to the top, which has a better view than at the lake itself. But very little people took this route. After we also got to try a nice local ginger drink. We went down to the krater lake took some pictures. Then we drove to the hotsprings, also very nice. Umien was great tourguide with lots of knowledge and trying his best to make the day perfect.
We had a great day with Umien! He was super nice, flexible and knew how to go off the beaten track everywhere to show us the most beautiful places. Definitely recommended for a tour if you are in Bandung!
We went on a tour with Umien to kawah putih. Umien is very knowledgeable and took us to all the best sites. We walked through a tea field, briefly hiked up a mountain to have an excellent view of the surroundings, and ended the tour with a wholesome mud bath. We learned a lot from Umien.
