Besuchen Sie die wunderschönen Naturlandschaften der Großen Kaukasischen Berge auf dem sogenannten georgischen Militärweg nach Russland. Während der Tour besuchen Sie das Gebäude aus dem 17. Jahrhundert, die Festung Ananuri, den Jinvali-Damm, das Gudauri-Freundschaftsdenkmal und die Dreifaltigkeitskirche Gergeti im Dorf Kazbegi/Stepantsminda. Es stoppt einfach in den sicheren Bereichen, sicheres Parken und Halten an einem erlaubten und bequemen Ort. Während der Tour können Sie ein Mittag- oder Abendessen in einem lokalen georgischen Familienrestaurant einnehmen. Gebühren für das Restaurant, Verleih von Pferden und Jeeps sind nicht im Preis der Tour enthalten. Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Straße von Gudauri nach Kazbegi im Winter wegen starken Schnees manchmal gesperrt ist. So ist es möglicherweise unmöglich, Dorf Kazbegi Touren Tag zu besuchen.

Unser erster Halt wird zum Fotografieren am Jinval-Staudamm sein. Der Jinvali-Staudamm wurde in den 1970er-Jahren zu Sowjetzeiten für die Stromerzeugung aus Wasserkraft gebaut. Der Name des Staudamms leitet sich von der Stadt ab, die kurz vor dem Staudamm lag. Jetzt steht diese Stadt unter Wasser und die Touristen nennen sie auch Unterwasserstadt. Es war eine alte, wunderschöne Stadt aus der Antike mit vielen archäologischen Stätten und Artefakten, die jetzt unter Wasser liegen. Den Einheimischen wurden Häuser gegeben, in denen sie unweit des Staudamms wohnen konnten. Der Pegel des Staudamms steigt im Sommer während der Regenzeit und sinkt im Winter während der Trockenzeit. Von dieser Stadt ist nur eine Festung erhalten geblieben, da sie höher auf dem Hügel liegt. Unser nächster Halt wird die Festung Ananuri sein.
Die Ananuri-Festung ist eine mittelalterliche Festung aus dem 13. Jahrhundert. Es wurde gebaut, um die Stadt Jincali vor Feinden zu schützen und die Straßen zu den Bergen zu sperren. Es verfügt über hohe Mauern und Türme zum Kämpfen sowie einen Wohnturm. In der Festung gibt es auch eine Kirche namens Saint-George. Saint-George war Beschützer der georgischen Armeen, Festungen und Städte.
In Gudauri machen wir einen Fotostopp am Gudauri-Freundschaftsdenkmal. Eigentlich liegt es neben Gudauri. Das Gudauri-Freundschaftsdenkmal, auch Panoramadenkmal genannt, wurde 1083 zu Sowjetzeiten zum Gedenken an die 200-jährige Freundschaft zwischen Georgiern und Russen errichtet. Die Geschichte Georgiens und Russlands ist an die Wand gemalt. Vor 200 Jahren wurde ein Freundschafts- und Kooperationsabkommen zwischen georgischen und russischen Königen geschlossen, das auch Protektorenabkommen genannt wird. Doch nach dem Tod des letzten georgischen Königs schafften die Russen das Königreich in Georgien ab und russische Gouverneure regierten Georgien bis zur russischen sozialistischen Revolution und bis zur Machtübernahme der Kommunisten. Dieses Denkmal erinnert an die 200-jährige Beziehung zwischen Georgien und Russland und wurde im Propagandastil der Sowjetzeit errichtet.
Sobald wir im Dorf Stepantsminda ankommen, können Touristen wählen, ob sie zur Gergeti-Dreifaltigkeitskirche wandern oder einen lokalen Jeep mieten möchten, um die Kirche auf dem Gergeti-Hügel zu erreichen. Die Gergeti-Kirche wurde im 14. Jahrhundert zur Zeit der Renaissance erbaut. Eigentlich war es eine Zeit, als die Mongolen die Hauptstadt Tiflis besetzten und die Menschen in die Berge flüchteten, um zu fliehen. Diesmal bauten die Georgier die Kirchen in den Bergen. Von der Gergeti-Kirche hat man einen fantastischen Ausblick auf das Dorf Stepanzminda und den Berg Kazbegi. Bitte beachten Sie, dass wir im Frühling, wenn in den Bergen Schnee liegt, einen örtlichen Jeep benötigen. Im Winter ist die Straße aufgrund von Schnee manchmal für alle Autos gesperrt. Die Gebühr für die Anmietung eines Jeeps ist nicht im Tourpreis enthalten. Im Sommer und Herbst ist es nicht nötig, einen Jeep zu mieten, da die Straßen schneefrei sind und für alle Autos geöffnet sind.

Es kann daher unmöglich sein, den Tag des Kazbegi-Ausflugs im Dorf zu besuchen. Wenn Sie in Stepantsminda ein Hotel gebucht haben, haben Sie in diesem Fall ein alternatives Hotel in Gudauri oder Tbilisi. Die Straße von Stepantsminda nach Gergeti ist möglicherweise wegen des Schnees gesperrt und kann nicht besucht werden.

We decided to do a day tour to easter Georgia - Anauri and Gadauri because we wanted to suprise our step son's girlfriend with a marriage proposal. I have to say that none of this would have been possible without George our guide. He helped us with everything and even became our photographer. He became part of the family. We just got back from an incredible trip to Georgia But as my children say Georgia was incredible but George was even greater. From the minute we landed until after we landed back home (when he checked in to make sure we arrived safely) he was so kind to us- he actually became part of the family he is so kind sensitive nice and insightful our trip was the most amazing ever all in his credit! His knowledge of the country with his wisdom to figure us out and understand what the needs and likes of our family and create and change the itinerary to make sure all of us are having the best time was so special we had some personnel special needs which he took care, watched our baby (who didn't want to leave him) took photos for us were ever we went and kept us entertained for all the hour we were in the car George is one of the nicest people i have met and highly recommend anyone that is thinking about going to Georgia to hire him We cant wait to come again

It was an awesome 3 full-day trip outside Tbilisi with friends and the helpful guide, George. He is well informed about his country may it be religion, history etc but just do not ask him about flowers. Lol. He would also go beyond his duty as a tour guide by physically assisting you while going up or down or just crossing. We were a group of 5 women and he helped us all. And for that, I highly recommend him, if you are looking for a knowledgeable tourist guide. He also speaks english well, hospitable and recommends great places. Thank you, George. Started with the cableway to view from top old historical places, walk high staircases to get on top to view the waterfall. View the bridge from lovers which lock their locks and throw the keys in the river. To seal their Love for each other. Tasted blue warm wine. Bought lots of little Georgian fridge magnets, keyrings at the little kiosks....

<p>The couple that took us on this tour were lovely and very informative. We could stop wherever we wanted to stop. It was a 12 hour round trip but well worth especially the 4 wheel drive up the mountain to see Kazbegi monastery. They were a couple to travel with.</p>
