Reiseverlauf
Wir besuchen die größte Obstplantage von Kaffeebauern und -röstern in den USA. Probieren Sie ungefähr 5 Sorten kostenlos. Schlendern Sie auf einer selbstgeführten Tour durch einen Teil des Obstgartens und lernen Sie alle Phasen des Kaffeeanbaus vom Samen bis zur Tasse kennen. Kaufen Sie auf Kauai angebaute Kaffeebohnen und lokale Souvenirs ein. Du magst keinen Kaffee? Genießen Sie ein kaltes Getränk oder Eis in ihrem Snackshop.
Wir versüßen Ihren Tag mit einem kurzen Zwischenstopp in der Aloha Sweet Delights Bakery, wo Sie lokale und hausgemachte Leckereien wie unsere berühmten Malasadas und Manju kaufen können.
In der Stadt Waimea, Kauai, machen wir einen kurzen Halt, wo der erste westliche Entdecker, Captain James Cook, auf den Inseln landete. Wir werden die unglaublichen Geschichten seiner Reise und seines Todes teilen.
Der Waimea Canyon State Park ist eines der Naturwunder Kauais, bekannt als der kleine Grand Canyon des Pazifiks. Bestaunen Sie dieses geologische Juwel von verschiedenen Aussichtspunkten aus, während wir den Berg auf ca. 3800 ' in Höhe erklimmen. Wir steigen an verschiedenen Orten aus dem Van aus, um erstaunliche Bilder zu machen. Der Hauptaussichtspunkt des Canyons ist bis Dezember 2025 zur Restaurierung geschlossen. Bitte beachten Sie, dass der Canyon etwa 15 Meilen lang und 2 Meilen breit ist, daher können Sie immer noch phänomenale Aussichten von vielen Stellen genießen, wenn Sie die Canyon Road hinaufgehen. Im Koke'e State Park genießen wir ein gemütliches Mittagessen im Koke'e Lodge Restaurant. Nach dem Mittagessen haben Sie freie Zeit, um das Koke'e-Museum für Natur- und Kulturgeschichte zu erkunden, einen Spaziergang durch die wunderschöne Wiese zu machen, die von Sugi- und Redwood-Kiefern umgeben ist, einen kurzen und einfachen Naturspaziergang zu unternehmen, um mehr über die einheimische Flora zu erfahren, und /oder die Hühner füttern.
Kalalau, bekannt als das Tal der Erleuchtung, ist das größte und schönste Tal an der berühmten Na Pali-Küste. Obwohl die Aussicht nicht garantiert ist, werden wir unser Bestes geben, damit Sie dieses Naturwunder bestaunen können.
Als letztes auf unserer Agenda steht ein Besuch der alten, historischen und charmanten Stadt Hanapepe, wo Sie kleine lokale Unternehmen unterstützen, Souvenirs und Kunst aus Hawaii MADE kaufen, sich mit einem köstlichen lokal hergestellten Fruchteis abkühlen und das berühmte besuchen können Sprechen Sie den Story Bookstore für einige seltene und antike Bücher an und gehen Sie über die 1912 erbaute Hängebrücke, wenn Sie sich trauen!

Teilen Sie uns per SMS oder E-Mail mit, wo Sie sich auf der Insel aufhalten werden. Wir holen Reisende in allen Hotels und Unterkünften auf der Ost- und Südseite der Insel, am Kreuzfahrthafen und am Flughafen ab. Gäste, die am Nordufer wohnen, werden uns vor dem Tag Ihrer Tour in Kapaa Stadt an einem Standort TBA abholen.

Oh. My. Gosh! Cannot thank Coco enough for the wonderful experience she gave us on this tour! Mahalo! It was a pleasure to spend the day in her company, we could've done nothing but hang out with her and we would've had a great time. She was so personable and kind and a lot of fun. We loved getting to see the Waimea Canyon; it's majestic and has so many variations in vegetation and formation and coloration that anywhere you look is a unique scene. My 'in-laws' were particularly pleased with it's splendor in comparison to the Grand Canyon, which they enjoy. Coco took us to all of the lookout spots and, bonus, was a decent photographer with all the right placements of person to vista ratio. We also got to visit a bakery specializing in Malasadas (yes, yes, a thousand times yes!), the Kauai Coffee Company (freeeee samples!), the Koke'e Lodge (unctuously savory farm to table Hawaiian staples), & Koke'e State Park (although this particular tour did not have time for trails / views of Kalalau Valley) and Hanapepe, the little historic town featured in Lilo and Stitch with lots of great little local artisan shops. Coco shared interesting historical and cultural information along the way and was always encouraging us to ask questions. My partner was very interested in a geological book that she had, he even bought the last copy (it's out of print now) at the Koke'e Gift Shop. She gave us great recommendations for what else to try before we left (Wailua Shave Ice) and what to do on our last day between hotel check out and rental car return (Kilohana Plantation). We just loved Coco so much! <3 I named my super kawaii pineapple travel pillow souvenir 'Coco-chan' :3 Oh yeah, Coco's daughter, Shasta, is also a guide and we kept seeing her at different stops; I would 100% recommend her expertise as well. Ohana, yo!

Signed up for small group but because of low sign up adjusted to semi private tour for 4 people. Shasta was our host and she was very friendly and knowledgeable about island. Picked up and returned us up to our resort so no driving which was great. Gave us plenty of time at each stop and recommendations of what to look for, what to eat and where to shop. Always felt safe with her driving and use of head set made it easy to hear while driving. Would definitely recommend.

This tour was an engaging and stunning introduction to Kaua'i. We knew little to nothing about the island when we arrived and wouldn't have had the slightest idea where to drive and explore had we just gone out on our own. The tour taught us so much about the island, which greatly improved our experience for the rest of our visit. It was an incredible way to see many of the island's highlights from the best possible vantage points, while also enjoying an authentic experience of the culture of the island. Crucially, the company reached out to us a couple of days prior to the tour to alert us to issues with underbooking, and provided a range of options of how to still enjoy the tour while adjusting for the circumstances. The personal communication, friendliness and commitment to providing an excellent experience are second to none. Almost immediately, it felt like having a local friend show you their favorite spots on the island, rather than being an impersonal and overly rehearsed tour. We didn't know it upon booking, but the family-owned nature of the company really showed through over the course of the tour, which added to the authenticity and personal feel of the tour. That said, it was still a professional, clean and safe tour. I would recommend this to absolutely anyone visiting the island, regardless of age or party size. If you are lucky enough to have Shasta as your tour guide, I can 100% promise you're in for an excellent experience.
