KATHMANDU DURBAR SQUARE - HANUMAN DHOKA einer einstündigen Tour: Der Durbar-Platz in Kathmandu ist voller Leben und Aktivitäten im Zentrum der Stadt, einst ein königlicher Palast und ein Innenhof von Malla bis Shah Kings. Kathmandu Durbar ist ein großer Platz mit historischen Sitzen ehemaliger Nepal-Könige, von ehemaligen Königen bis hin zu alten Tempeln und Palästen, die das religiöse und kulturelle Leben der nepalesischen Bevölkerung symbolisieren. Hier wurde König von Nepal gekrönt, und der Platz auf dem Platz ist interessant: Taleju-Tempel, erbaut von König Mahendra Malla in 1.549 n. Chr. Gigantische Figur von Kal Bhairav, dem Gott der Zerstörung. Basantpur Durbar oder Nautalle Durbar, gebaut von König Prithivi Narayan Shah mit Krönungsplattform (Nasal Chok) .Hall of Public Publikum (Gaddi Baithak) Statue von König Pratp Malla-Big Bell-großen Trommeln und Jaganath-Tempel. Swayambhunath Stupa / Affentempel eine Tour von einer Stunde oder weniger: Nach einer großartigen Zeit in der Umgebung von Pashupatinath und Bouddhanath führt Sie die Fahrt in den Außenbezirk der Stadt nach Westen, um ein berühmtes Wahrzeichen des Landes Swayambhunath Stupa zu erreichen, das wegen seiner vielen Affen, die in der Nähe des grünen Fleckens wohnen, auch als Affentempel bekannt ist vom Wald. Vier Seiten der Turmspitze sind allsehende Augen von Lord Buddha, die auf einem Hügel etwa 7 Meter über dem Talboden gelegen sind, ein Hügelmosaik aus kleinen Stupas und Pagoden-Tempeln, von wo aus man einen großartigen Blick auf Kathmandu und die Stadt genießen kann das Tal mit schneebedeckten Bergen in Richtung Norden an einem klaren schönen Tag. Nach einer angenehmen und interessanten Tour kehren Sie im Herzen von Kathmandu zur letzten Tagestour rund um den Kathmandu Durbar Square zurück.
Bouddhanath Stupa (eine Stunde oder weniger mit Mittagspause): Nach einer aufregenden Zeit im heiligen Tempel von Pashupatinath führt eine kurze Fahrt in Richtung Norden zu einer interessanten Stätte von Bouddhanath Stupa, die aufgrund der Umgebung, die der tibetischen Tradition und dem Brauch der Religion des Mahayana-Buddhismus und der farbenfrohen Kultur ähnelt, auch als "kleines Tibet" bekannt ist. Das Gebiet von Bouddhanath Stupa, östlich der Stadtgrenze gelegen, ist ein großes kolossales, kuppelförmiges Stupa, das mit allen Seeing Eyes of Lord Buddha, das von Lichchhavi King Mana Dev im 5. Jh. Erbaut wurde, der größte der Welt war Räder Hier können Sie viele Einheimische und Pilger tibetischer Herkunft mit buddhistischer Religion und Praxis tibetischer Kultur und Traditionen erleben. Pashupatinath Temple Tour einer Stunde: Unsere Kathmandu-Tagestour beginnt mit einem heiligen Besuch des berühmten Hindu-Tempels von Pashupatinath, der sich 5 km entfernt befindet. Entfernung von der Hauptstadt in Richtung Osten am Ufer des heiligen Baghmati-Flusses, ein goldener überdachter Tempel, der Lord Shiva gewidmet ist (einer der drei Hauptgottheiten der Hindu-Religion) mit komplizierten Schnitzereien aus silbernen Türen auf vier Hauptplätzen. Berühmt für seine großartige Architektur und ein jährliches Pilgerzentrum am Tag von Maha Shiva-Ratri (Shiva Geburtstag), der Mitte Februar als Hindu-Luna-Kalender fällt. Wo nicht Hindus nicht in das Hauptgebäude des Tempels eindringen dürfen, können sie die religiösen Riten und Aktivitäten der Anbeter von der anderen Seite des Flusses beobachten.

My tour of Kathmandu with Kedar was great. I spent 4 hours seeing some of the highlights of Kathmandu and learning about the history and culture of the region. The tour is paced according to your wishes which is nice after traveling for a day to reach Nepal. I highly recommend this tour if you want to catch some of the major attractions of Kathmandu in a relatively short period of time.

I loved this trip and my guide Kedar was just amazing!!! I was picked up from my hotel lobby in the morning and saw 4 Unesco Sites. It turned out that Kedar used to be the President of the Nepal Tour Guide Association and everywhere we went, he was known and greeted warmly. He made sure I had good pictures and he also talked to a monk he knew for a permission to take a picture with him. I was the only tourist this day and Kedar adjusted the tour per my liking, making sure that I had plenty of time to do my souvenir and singing bowls shopping.
