Die Kathmandu und Pokhara Tour beginnt mit einer Erkundung der mittelalterlichen Stadt Kathmandu, gefolgt von einer fabelhaften Reise in die Lake City von Pokhara. Während unserer 6-tägigen Tour genießen wir die kulturellen Wunder und entdecken alte hinduistische und buddhistische Relikte im Kathmandu-Tal. Besuchen Sie mehrere UNESCO-Welterbestätten, die über die Stadt verstreut sind. Als nächstes besuchen wir Nagarkot, eine kleine Stadt, die für ihre hervorragende Aussicht auf den Himalaya bekannt ist. In Pokhara besuchen wir den berühmten Davis-Fall, die Shiva-Höhle, den Fewa-See und viele andere Natur- und Kulturwunder. Während wir hier sind, können wir auch die Magie des Himalaya mit Annapurna und Dhaulagiri erleben, die sich in der Nähe abzeichnen.

- Tag 01: Ankunft in Kathmandu (1350 m)
- Nach Ihrer Ankunft am Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu holt Sie einer unserer Vertreter von Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure ab. Transfer zum jeweiligen Hotel
- Tag 02: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing
- Nach dem Frühstück am Morgen werden Sie wie unten angegeben zum Sightseeing-Ort weitergeleitet. 1.Boudhanath Stupa, liegt etwa 6 km östlich der Innenstadt von Kathmandu und ist die größte Stupa im Tal. Es ist 36 Meter hoch und präsentiert eines der faszinierendsten Exemplare des Stupa-Designs. Buddhanath ist auch als Khasti oder Tautropfen bekannt, nachdem die Bauherren den Mörtel mit Tau mischen mussten, da Kathmandu während des Baus von Bouddhanath unter einer schweren Dürre litt. 2.Pasupatinath Tempel, Pashupatinath ist einer der heiligsten hinduistischen Schreine der Welt und liegt 5 km östlich des Stadtzentrums. Die reich verzierte Pagode beherbergt das heilige Linga oder phallische Symbol von Lord Shiva. Chroniken weisen auf die Existenz des Tempels vor 400 n. Chr. Hin. Im heiligen Bagmati-Fluss, der neben dem Tempel fließt, können Anhänger rituelle Dips nehmen. Der Patan-Durbar-Platz ist eine bezaubernde Kombination aus Palastgebäuden, künstlerischen Innenhöfen und anmutigen Pagodentempeln. Der ehemalige königliche Palastkomplex ist das Zentrum von Patans religiösem und sozialem Leben und beherbergt ein Museum mit einer Reihe von Bronzestatuen und religiösen Gegenständen. Ein bemerkenswertes Denkmal ist ein Tempel aus dem 17. Jahrhundert, der dem hinduistischen Gott Krishna gewidmet ist und vollständig aus Stein 4 erbaut wurde. Swayambhunath Stupa (Weltkulturerbe) Wacht von der Spitze eines Hügels auf seiner Westseite über das Tal. Die riesige Stupa ist eine der heiligsten buddhistischen Stätten in Nepal und ihre Errichtung ist mit der Schaffung des Kathmandu-Tals aus einem Ursee verbunden.
- Tag 03: Fahrt nach Pokhara (6-7 Stunden)
- Nach dem Frühstück fahren wir nach Pokhara (5 - 6 Stunden) ist spektakulär mit Aussicht entlang der gesamten Route. Sie können das Ambiente von Pokhara in der natürlichen Umgebung mit dem hoch aufragenden Himalaya im Hintergrund genießen.
- Tag 04: Pokhara Sightseeing
- Pokhara ist eine natürliche Hauptstadt Nepals und Ausgangspunkt für Trekking in Annapurna. Ihre Erkundungsorte werden gemäß Ihren Präferenzen gestaltet. Besuchen Sie Devis Fall und das tibetische Flüchtlingslager. Entdecken Sie den Phewa-Markt am See. Phewa See Bootfahren am Abend, um das Spiegelbild des Himalaya auf dem Phewa See zu fangen. Am frühen Morgen werden Sie zum Sonnenaufgang nach Sarangkot gebracht, von wo aus Sie Dhaulagiri (8.167 m / 7. höchste) sehen können. Annapurna Range einschließlich Annapurna I (8.091 m / 10. höchste) und Manaslu Range (8.163 m / 7. höchste)
- Tag 05: Rückfahrt nach Kathmandu (6-7 Std.)
- Wir fahren wieder zurück nach Kathmandu. Und wenn Sie wieder in Kathmandu sind, können Sie sich die verbleibende Zeit für Last-Minute-Einkäufe nehmen oder die Zeit nutzen, um die Stadt zu erkunden.
- Tag 06: Abreisetag
- Nach dem Frühstück bringen wir Sie zum internationalen Flughafen für Ihr weiteres Ziel

At first arriving in Kathmandu, I was bombarded with tour guides offering me everything between heaven and earth. When meeting Bishnu Batta however, from Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure, I felt he was the only one to really understand my needs and desires. Instead of selling me an itinerary impossible to accomplish, he curated a beautiful trip through the magnificent Himalayan nature, with elements of culture and relaxation in-between - no gimmicky tourist traps, just the best of what Nepal has to offer. From Kathmandu I was taken to Pokhara by plane, where lodging was arranged in an excellent 5-star resort, before starting our trek into the mountains the day after. The route we journeyed was breathtakingly beautiful, with varied nature and quick lunch and coffee breaks in charming villages along the way, before reaching our vantage point at Australian Camp. On our way back I was shown a few temples and given time for contemplation, and taken through some smaller, quieter towns, offering a different pace than the big cities. Back in Pokhara Bishnu guided me to the local culture, and showed me some very fine causes close to his heart - especially the Tibetan refugee camp struck a chord with me. I'm forever grateful to Bishnu, for showing me a good time in Nepal, and for being the gentle and kind soul that he is. I'm proud to now call him an friend.

Franklin and I just returned from Radiant Treks' Kathmandu-Pokhara excursion. To be honest, it was great. Our trip was fun, hilarious and full of local history and culture. Gokarna is a man to praise. He took us to Kirtipur and the White Monastery in kathmandu(I forgot the nepalese name ). However, the both place was quiet and authentic compared to the busy tourist spots. In Pokhara, he showed us not only Sarangkot and Phewa Lake but also hidden gems like Begas Lake, Rupa Lake and Kahun Danda. There we enjoyed fresh fish and peaceful mountain views without the crowds. Everything was well-organized. The vehicle was clean and we never felt rushed. Radiant Treks gave us both the highlights and the hidden sides of Nepal. Highly recommended, especially with Gokarna as your guide!
